- Head-turning kitty Sigrid loves nothing more than whizzing around the sights of London in the comfort of her own personal cycle basket.
Four-year-old Norwegian forest cat Sigrid is owner Travis Nelson's constant travel companion. The pair have travelled over 900 miles so far.
Travis, 45, started taking Sigrid or 'Sigi' on rides across the city after he was made redundant in 2020.
And the fearless feline took the activity immediately complete with her own basket, a safety harness - and even a stylish pair of cycling goggles.
This incredible 'cat's eye view' of the city shows them traveling through Camden town, The River Thames, Leicester Square and even Abbey Road, where the famous Beatles' album cover was taken.
Travis, a software engineer, said: "Since I've always taken Sigrid out on walks with me, it seemed natural to bring her on the bike too! She took to it right away.
"We've been making videos steadily since December of last year, all around London. Sigi is probably the most well traveled cat in London. She has about 900 miles on the bike as of now.
"Probably my all time favourite is when we were testing out her goggles. Mainly because it's just so ridiculous and really shows her intrepid nature, and partially because it's by far our most viral video with over a million views just on my account, and one or two million views in other places."

She's so cute when she puts her little paws up front, I believe she thinks: "I am SPEED" 😂
What a gorgeous cat. Love that she has goggles and is harnessed in the bike. Responsible cat owner.
So beautiful!
The goggles!!! 😂❤
She's pretty rad ❤

Hey Sigrid you are super cute and so beautiful. I think it's nice to explore London with you. Greetings from Austria 🇦🇹 your Issy
I’ve follow you guys on 3 social media platforms now and you always make me smile love the goggles xx🐾🐾🐾
😍😻👍👍👍
So sweet, love the face mask.
I think it’s sensible that Sigrid wears google to protect her eyes from pollution and particles in the air, to prevent damage to her cornea. 👀 😊
Mega!
Sigrid goes for miles and miles round London - so when will she rock up at The Palace?
Wish this guy wouldn't be so careless around pedestrians though.
L love sigrid
3:29 "Infidel! Have you not heard of the magic riding basket?"
I need to see when you begin the Tour, comes she to the bike and jump in her bag? Or must you take her and bring she to the bike? Thats "say" me have she real fun,or do she it only why you it need to take her in her bag!? Sorry for my bad english best wish Reiner from Germany
Hi,,, where can i buy the cat carrier bag... i need urgently,,, THANKS
Where I can get the bag?
I like it, very cute and all that but a cat on a lead is a bad idea. Take it for a walk around a local park and it'll be carnage !
PLEASE be careful! Remember what happened to MotorCat and Bob.
See 1bike1world with Nala
Why is it speed up? Duh.
cat says 3:30 actually a cat can run faster
Is a lovely friend
But, don't ride between one car and another
It's very dangerous for u and him🐾
I'm cyclist too
Date bait.
Lol..ya..whats going down here..babe magnet ..no doubt..lucky guy..🇨🇦
I love his confidence I have a cat that literally looks like this (Turkish angora though) don't know if this one is just a white house cat and whilst this is amazing and I would love to do it for him, I'm put off by the attention. Some people wanna take their pets out without striking conversation with others... That would be the thing to put me off. I get it though... They are rare and really majestic looking because of their white coat but sigh it's just too much for my personality type.. all akward and not knowing what to say back to people. I know dog owners must go through this all the time. That's why even if I think an animal is cute I just say it to myself and leave them alone.
I know most people are genuinely interested and mean no harm, I'm just an introvert and like my space to just be without talking most times
Our Ashley is 16 this year and always wanted to try a harness and lead but the main thing that put me off was the amount of dog owners reporting attacks whilst out and about from other less friendly dogs, mostly off leads. Take your cat around a local park and it'll be carnage #!
@@TheTwistedStone Yes! That too... We live near by an orchard and there are always dogs walking which is lovely. I also have a small toddler which I took there on her 1st bday for watching the sunset and bubbles and the amount of dogs that were off leash and ran up to my lil one (a small baby who could barely walk well) was amazing but heart jerking at the same time because everyone was so relaxed about it whilst I was terrified inside. Needless to say, we did not stay too long. I understand, it's a dog world, their owners have a lot of confidence and trust in them- I don't because like with cats anything that bothers them or goes the wrong way, they let you know! But we already know whose bite is more powerful.. they have been the mainstream pet for millennia so I get their feeling like any and everywhere is for dogs over anything else. I would not be able to take him there because I kid you not every 5 minutes there is a different dog..huge small you name it I've seen it. Most times off leash. Without a pet, I'm scared so imagine how they feel.
I have seen a local kids park that is always quiet with no dogs allowed sign...that's the only place I would ever feel tempted to leash train him outside. Sorry that for 16 years you weren't able to. Hopefully he gets lots of time near windows or even a cuddle for a few minutes out in the garden
@@ANIONEJM Ashley spends most of his time in the garden keeping an eye on the rabbits or falling asleep in their hutch...
🥇 first
she's crying to get out and he laughs.....
Shes fine
