Too many holes in the safety net to point out here, but I'll try. It begins with a police dept. that leaked information, a media that recklessly spread that information and a Korean netizen community that lusts for blood at the hint of scandal. And once the public begins their judgmental screed, corporate sponsors, who have no spines, began withdrawing their support and cancelling contracts. All this despite the fact that toxicology reports came up with nothing. From October to December, the police interrogated him 3 times, the last time was days before Christmas for 19 hours. It broke him and on the 27th of December, he committed suicide, telling his wife in a note that he saw it as his only option.
