This story does a great job of making Paul's conversion real. I have never thought of Paul as an assassin, but he really was. This story proves, once again, that no one has sunk so far that God can not reach their outstretched hand.

My dear brothers and sisters, one person that I really care about is going through a very hard period. He use to love God so much but then he got disappointed by the church and left, and now he doesn't want to hear anything about Jesus, he hates him soo much, there is so much anger, and bitterness and disappointment and rebellion in him. But only God knows his heart, and I pray for him to come back home. It would also mean a lot to me if you could pray for this brother, for God to work on his heart so he may repent and accept Jesus as his Savior again.

La salvación es la decisión más importante que pueden tomar los seres humanos. Porque decide su destino eterno, ya sea a la vida eterna o la muerte. Jesús dijo: “¿De qué le sirve al hombre ganar el mundo entero y perder su alma? ¿O qué dará el hombre a cambio de su alma? (Mateo 16:26). La Biblia enseña que para ser salvo, una persona debe seguir los siguientes pasos sencillos:
1-Acepta el amor de Dios:
“En esto se manifestó el amor de Dios hacia nosotros, porque Dios envió a su Hijo unigénito al mundo, para que vivamos por él. En esto está el amor, no que amáramos a Dios, sino que él nos amó, y envió a su Hijo como propiciación por nuestros pecados ”(1 Juan 4: 9, 10).
2-Confiesa y arrepiéntete de tus pecados:
“Si confesamos nuestros pecados, él es fiel y justo para perdonar nuestros pecados y limpiarnos de toda maldad” (1 Juan 1: 9).
3-Recibe la salvación por fe:
Créalo: Cristo murió por usted. “Porque tanto amó Dios al mundo que dio a su Hijo unigénito, para que todo aquel que en él cree no se pierda, mas tenga vida eterna” (Juan 3:16). Cree que Él te perdona. Porque “el que encubre sus pecados no prosperará, pero el que los confiesa y los abandona, tendrá misericordia” (Proverbios 28:13). Y finalmente, crea que Cristo te salva de la muerte eterna. “El que cree en mí tiene vida eterna” (Juan 6:47).
4-Obedece los mandamientos de Dios a través de su poder habilitador:
Jesús dijo: “Si me amáis, guardad mis mandamientos” (Juan 14:15). Y recuerde que "es Dios quien obra en usted el querer y el actuar para cumplir su buen propósito" (Filipenses 2:13).
5-Permanece en Dios a través del estudio diario de las escrituras, la oración y el testimonio:
“Escudriñen las Escrituras” (Juan 5:39), “Oren sin cesar” (1 Tesalonicenses 5:17) y “vayan y hagan discípulos” (Mateo 28:19).
6- Únase a la verdadera iglesia de Dios:
La Biblia da la descripción de la verdadera iglesia de Dios: "Aquí está la paciencia de los santos; aquí están los que guardan los mandamientos de Dios y la fe de Jesús" (Apocalipsis 14:12). Por lo tanto, la verdadera Iglesia de Dios guardará todos los mandamientos de Dios (Éxodo 20: 8-11) y tendrá la fe de Jesús (Hechos 16:31).
7-Bautízate:
“El que crea y sea bautizado, será salvo; pero el que no crea, será condenado ”(Marcos 16:16).
Para aceptar la salvación de Dios hoy, puede comenzar haciendo esta oración: “Mi Padre celestial, acepto a Jesús, el cordero que murió por mis pecados. Ven a mi corazón y sálvame. En el nombre de Jesús, pido. Amén."
The Lord moves in mysterious ways his wonders to perform.
So maybe Jesus can help me accept & get over my past.
I don't know what luv is as my mother was abusive & my dad worked so many hrs that he didn't know what was happening.
I can't find forgiveness for her so how can Jesus forgive & accept me if I can't accept or forgive the years of emotional & physical
(& forceful religious) abuse of my mother.
I feel nothing for her so why should God feel anything for me!
I have no idea what real luv is so how can I give real luv.
The only form of luv I have is for animals....
My dog, all dogs I adore.
My cat, all cats I adore.
ALL animals, I adore.
ALL children, I adore.
Adults? Not so much.
If a dog was dying on one side of a street & an adult on the other, I would try & save the dog.
Does this make me a bad person?
I believe yes. The Devil grasp onto those who truly love God with all their heart a lot stronger, I believe. He hates us particularly more, in my opinion. At least that has been my experience.. he notices those who simply love God without restraint, etc. Afterwards, it's game on.. his aim is to destroy us at all cost!

@@awrweb If I offended you, it wasn't my intention. I come from a culture where my ancestors made pacts with the fallen angels. They are called Lwas in Vodou. As a young girl, my grandparents had killed a goat and cooked the blood.. I was consuming it like everyone else and someone mentioned to me that the God of the Bible forbade humans to eat blood. My interest in that God peaked so much that I tried to learn as much about him as a I could. Unfortunately, I don't remember getting all the information I needed. I didn't realize it then but the interest I had shown in God made me a target. Those beings made my life nearly unbearable for years.. if you're in that world where you do not have access to proper information... where no one can teach you how to properly pray... a third world country.. you are very alone and those beings terrorize you as best as they can. They tried to get me to commit suicide but the problem was my fear of God.. that I would offend him.. that I would end up in hell stopped me. Is that irony?
The spirit world exist.. and it can be terrifying when things around you are happening that you cannot see. Thankfully, God sent his angels to rescue me.. otherwise.
Honestly, I cannot measure anyone's love for God, so I wasn't referring to everyone.. just those in particular traditions/groups.. I hope this helped to clarify things a bit.
