Was diverted at this scene Boxing day evening around 7:30 pm we knew it must be something horrendous but to know a little girl lost her life is devastating. My heart breaks for the family and anyone unfortunate enough to witness such a tragedy.
I seen an earlier release on the news about this, the police stopped pursuit and the helicopter was used instead. The thief/killer wasnt harmed much at all in the accident and was arrested. Its crazy that these ppl running from the cops almost always survive with minimal injury while killing everyone they crashed into.

I had something similar happen to me: Someone fleeing the police, slams into me at top speed, totaling my car, my trailer and hurtling me into oncoming traffic. Through some unbelievable miracle my consciousness returned before I head-on collided with everyone, I managed to pull the vehicle back off the center island and missed a bunch of poles and such with only some neck injury. Here is where is gets disgusting: There is no one in the smashed vehicle that hit me that is now in the ditch. The person fled so fast that by the time I was out of my car they were gone. I suggest to the police that they collect DNA from all the airbags that went off in the car, and wouldn't you know it? They found plenty. Then it came time to get DNA from the "suspect" they felt was most likely to blame for all the carnage... Nope. The person REFUSED to give it. Case closed. I still cannot believe it. That is the reality of what power the police really have here to see justice served. This story is completely awful as a young life was lost and an entire family completely broken and devastated... and for what? We need CAPITAL punishment for this. Mess around with kids and you pay with your LIFE.
I am always angry at thieves who are too lazy to work for a living and so resort to stealing from people who do, but the type in this video really makes my blood boil. Their unwillingness to earn a living not only makes them resort to theft but recklessly endanger the lives of innocent people by fleeing at high speed. And in some cases - like this one - their laziness ended someone else's life while they barely get a scratch. Even if the accidents they cause don't result in death they cause injuries and damage to other people's property. These thieves are the lowest form of life; they care only about themselves and not the harm they cause to others in their attempt to steal everything so they don't have to work.

Through some unbelievable miracle my consciousness returned before I head-on collided with everyone, I managed to pull the vehicle back off the center island and missed a bunch of poles and such with only some neck injury. Here is where is gets disgusting: There is no one in the smashed vehicle that hit me that is now in the ditch. The person fled so fast that by the time I was out of my car they were gone. I suggest to the police that they collect DNA from all the airbags that went off in the car, and wouldn't you know it? They found plenty. Then it came time to get DNA from the "suspect" they felt was most likely to blame for all the carnage... Nope. The person REFUSED to give it. Case closed. I still cannot believe it. That is the reality of what power the police really have here to see justice served. This story is completely awful as a young life was lost and an entire family completely broken and devastated... and for what? We need CAPITAL punishment for this. Mess around with kids and you pay with your LIFE.
The most infuriating part is this guy will be back on the street after just a few years, picking up his old profession again.

I am always angry at thieves who are too lazy to work for a living and so resort to stealing from people who do, but the type in this video really makes my blood boil. Their unwillingness to earn a living not only makes them resort to theft but recklessly endanger the lives of innocent people by fleeing at high speed. And in some cases - like this one - their laziness ended someone else's life while they barely get a scratch. Even if the accidents they cause don't result in death they cause injuries and damage to other people's property. These thieves are the lowest form of life; they care only about themselves and not the harm they cause to others in their attempt to steal everything so they don't have to work.
I feel so sorry for the family. CPS should never have gotten into a high speed chase within the city. I hope the officers involved are held accountable along with those they were chasing.
