I mean how do you even come up with this stuff. The mechanics of this whole shotgun, it’s genius how everything fits and runs 😂 Look how easy it is to pop that barrel off. Thanks for the video, it’s perfect
What year is your model 37? Is this pre-interchangeable barrel? I have a 1949 model 16ga that I have not taken the barrel off yet. It's pre-interchangeable barrel, but I think I can still remove it.
@@breakneckmilk9324 Thank you Henry. Since I posted, I have removed the barrel. No issues at all. Probably the first time the barrel has been removed in decades. Never seen my dad remove it. Also tried the slam fire feature, which is pretty neat, but probably won't use that feature for anything except for fun.
@@breakneckmilk9324 I think the difference here is "removable" vs. "interchangeable". Prior to 1963 the barrels were removable but the manufacturing techniques were not perfect, so the barrels were custom fit. Later (1963?) manufacturing techniques improved making it possible to have interchangeable barrels, such that you could remove one barrel and put on another.
Rack your action back, and leave it in that position before starting anything. I'm sure you figured this out by now since this question is 7 months old.
Thank you. Appreciate the video being short and straight to the point.👍🏼
Finally a video that shows barrel removal with the Magazine Nut Pin. That earned you a like & follow

@@whatsinanamethatthecaptive577 thanks for clearing that up
I would be able to twist the plug if my older brother (who knows more about guns than I do) actually put the screw in the right place
Mine won't twist off
