They have to be able to run the ball at some point because we all know that it’s easy to stop a one trick offensive! If we expect to go to a bowl game we have to be able to tun the ball for 3 yards or more per carry when they do run the ball
Thanks for your work fellas. former Buff Big XII Champ here (and you know we ran the ball). You will definitely have to run the ball some in that environment. It will be loud and hype. Don't think Nebraska's DB are ready for the Buffs WR options. Someone will have to step up for them to win. Maybe the kid from Vandy or Omarion???
Defense last week looked great in the second half. The NDSU game although scoreboard was close it really could have been a blowout. Jimmy dropped (what would have been a touchdown) a ball that would have been a touchdown, then there was a fluke interception in the end zone that nulled another score. Buffs easily could have had two more touchdowns.
Teams expecting to win their conference don't focus on hypothetical points. Accept CU's performance for what it was. NDSU can easily play the same hypothetical game by saying had they scored the two point conversion, and the refs did not allow 5sec to run off the clock on their final possession, they could have tied the game at the end to send it into overtime with a field goal and who knows who would have won.
@@THE-BASEMENT dude, your hypothetical is so not even in the same world. Yes, it’s not lost on me we are talking about hypothetical. But really, it was a fluke interception of a ball bouncing off someone’s calf and Jimmy did drop a ball because he was so wide open he couldn’t believe it. Either way the defense was solid in the second half and yes, I think the Buffs offense is more potent than what the final score of the ballgame was
@@campbellcampbell9059Regardless if the interception was a fluke, It was a horrible pass to LaJhontay from Shedeur. CU's OL allowed pressures on 30% of snaps against NDSU. Last years horrible OL averaged pressures on 35% of snaps so not much improvement there. Cu's RB's only gained 59yrds total which is terrible. So as a fan are you really in a position to play the hypothetical of how your team could have score more or should you just be thankful that you won and move on and hope your team corrects their shortcomings.
@@THE-BASEMENT “was a fluke”. Did you actually see the play. It bounced off the back calf of a NDSU player that wasn’t even trying to make a play on the ball. And, no it wasn’t a bad pass, Shedeur was trying to put it in a window that only his receiver could get to. As a fan, I am focusing on the positive. Namely, they drove the field and a fluke interception happened and that Jimmy dropped a pass that he shouldn’t have because he was already thinking wow!!! I have nothing but open field between me and the end zone. As a fan, no… I’m not gonna over think a week 1 offensive live and running back performance by two entirely new units and expect that they’ll be a building process and likely get better each week of the season. So, yes.. as a fan, I’ll focus on the positives that we easily had two more scores and s….hit happens.
@@campbellcampbell9059 The pass was intended for LaJohtay, but a defender guarding Sheppard fell down in front of LaJohntay and Shedeur threw it too low. Watch the play again, Shedeur did not have to throw it low because the defender was lying on the grown. Nothing wrong with focusing on positives but creating hypothetical positives is doing too much especially considering all the mistakes CU made throughout the game.
CU won last year by 22 points. NEB is not much better than last year...CU is a lot bigger and better at each and very position. That tells me that CU will win this game by at least 17 points....but they are underdogs by 7.5. That is crazy. 45-21 CU.
Insane. Do you know how often CU wins in Lincoln? The Cornsuckers are much better, it was 13-0 at half and 13-7 in the 3rd Qtr last year. Jeff Sims couldn't throw and had like 4 turnovers. Raiola is a pure passer and seems accurate. They also can run. CU has to run the ball there and they have shown zero improvement. It's so loud, they won't be able to audible so that will affect their passing. Expect the cornfukcers to blitz a lot because the noise helps them. NU cornlickers 42 CU 13
A freshman qb scoring 35 points is insane. The defense and offensive line has to communicate. That was the biggest issue week 1. Should see improvements this week
CU can stay in the gun on short yardage....the problem comes when they bunch it up...and also because RB's don't jump over top at full speed. Those are simple adjustments..RB's need to go old school and go over the top.
I seen that too, Hayden would’ve got the first if he jumped… also would’ve been an easy first down if Benson can stay on his blocks… he got beat on almost every run play
Colorado must stop playing man coverage all game it makes the offensive coordinators job way 2 easy that's how NDSU killed them d line held up well besides letting the qb slip out but man coverage also contributed 2 that happening as well entire secondary chasing recievers while the qb is running 😂😂😂
Not gonna lie, Brian picking the Buffs to win was not on my bingo card.
Deion would probably censor him if he didn't

When we win I don’t wanna hear anything from pat let Brian do the show himself 😂 cu35 Nebraska31
Love Brian’s show. This is were I come to get the Truth with No artificial Hype!
Klatt predicting a Buff win too. IDK…I have too much post traumatic Buff disorder to be confident.

Brian I think coach was joking bc coach sapp just said the same thing as you on uncle Neely with sapp show on Wednesdays
NDSU was tired. Altitude is tough
