You don’t have to be a doctor to report it. A lot of the doctors are too busy to report adverse events that aren’t death.
I am vaxed and boostered but my fiancé has tons of auto immune diseases and he’s afraid to get it. It messes with some auto immune diseases but everybody has a choice and I’m one of those people you wanna get vaxed go for it you don’t want to that’s your choice.

There are reasons people have to not do it and even if it’s that they don’t feel comfortable how does it effect me? The vaccine protects me to the same level regardless of if I get the germ from someone that is vacxxed or not.

My fiancé has many complicated physical issues it is a non-issue between us he doesn’t tell me that I’m crazy for getting vaxed and I don’t make comments to him about him not being vaxxed we love each other and we both want us to be safe. Another very disturbing thing is the glee that I have seen on others when let’s say somebody who is vaxed gets sick and exactly the same glee when somebody who is not vaxed gets sick it is literally disgusting.
My blood sugar actually stayed VERY low the whole 2 weeks I had covid. And I usually have to worry about high numbers, not low. Praying for your Mom. Hope she can get it lined out and start feeling better!

Any vaccine can cause a temporary inflammation issue since it's triggering your immune response. It's possible that could have something to do with it.
My heart goes out to you, My mom is a type 1 ( 25+yrs) and they just moved states away from me this past year. She got her Covid shot ( Johnson & Johnson) Then with in a few weeks she had her first DKA episode and we almost lost her. Its terrifying!! My mom is ok ( for now) and I will keep your mom in my thoughts that she continues to do well.

They make over the seat trash cans but what I did for my car since it’s small and I couldn’t reach that trash situation was I got a basket and put a trash bag in it and it sits in the floor board behind the passenger seat so I can easily reach and put trash in it.
Yes, I know two people with serious adverse reactions so far. I'm not "anti vaxx" but I hope people become more aware and that everyone who has experienced these reactions recovers well.
My sister is experiencing total vision loss in one of her eyes since getting her second dose of the Pfizer vaccine. Perfect vision before, 2 weeks later, she’s having dizzy spells, falling down, and 70% vision loss in her left eye. So terrifying :(
Does mama have an insulin pump or does she take shots? I use the omnipod and I heard that it can continuously give insulin without you knowing. Just wondering.

Glucagon shot! Always keep one on hand even though you may never need it and it’ll expire before you need it but it’s instant 👍🏼 I’ve been type 1 for 25 years now and I’ve only needed it once thank god. My sugar was 30 when I had the injection and in 20 mins I was at 80
My son is a T1D. He was diagnosed at 10. He's 24 now. It's so scary when they experience those crazy lows and crazy highs. I don't think my son has had this symptom since he got the vaccine. I'm so sorry she had to go through this. Does she have a glucogon? It's a shot she can put in her thigh in times like this. Since she can't feel her lows now, it might be good to get a prescription for it. It's like an epi-pen but for diabetics (filled with sugar) and it works SUPER fast! Prayers for your momma!
I am hypoglycemic, after all 3 of my vaccines I have had severe drops in my blood sugar even when eating and trying to bring it up. Thank goodness I still have symptoms so that I can take care of it when I feel it drop. Praying for Mama Fearless and this to level out.

I have a spot in my roof for 1 pair of sunglasses .I took one of those plastic shoe organizers .I found a cute leopard trim one at TJ Max.Mine goes 4 across I cut it in length to the floor.I removed the hooks it came with and just use the grommet holes .I got some leopard ribbon and tied to my headrest .You could use zip ties,cord etc.I keep 8 extra pairs of sunglasses some in cases ,some loose.Then I have things like bug spray,sunblock, tissue,a lint roller ,a pair of flip flops etc.If I have a back seat passenger I just lay it in the hatchback temporarily.I cut it carefully with scissors bc it was too long .
Alex, If you see this.... I am a type 2 but my Mother was a type 1 as well and her would do the same thing and it is very scary for everyone and frustrating as well. We had tried alot of things everyone tells you, but we had a person tell us to get pure raw honey and keep it if she ever had an issue again. Well she did and we took 2 tablespoons of it and within about 30 minutes it was back up to normal. So it might be something to get and the nice thing is pure raw honey will never go bad. I'm glad that is better and recovered from it and happy you were able to get the app as well. They didn't have any of this type of stuff when she was still alive. Also, little extra thing to keep in your care is small can of lysol for either disinfecting buggies or car farts. I also keep a little cheap spray cologne in my purse to use in bathrooms if I have to go as well, you know sometime it just pure ass stinks in them. Blessings and Love! Sherry

type 2 are having problems too after the shot. they lose control of their normally controlled blood sugars..they skyrocket and cant get them down to normal

Oh, Alex, I’m so sorry. I had no idea Mama Fearless was T1D! Yet another thing we have in common. My mama was T1 for 50+ years. She and I were extremely close too, which is one of the reasons I love seeing Mama Fearless in your vlogs, you two remind me of me and my mama. If her sugars are consistently running low lately then it does make it harder for her to feel the effects of the lows. Once her sugars are normal all the time she will start to feel the lows again. It blows my mind that the glucose gels weren’t working! That stuff ALWAYS works. Hang in there, sending love.

I haven’t had that as a result of a vaccine, but I have had stubborn lows like that before. Inflammation seems to be the biggest culprit. And mine used to occur when I was on my period. Having a hysterectomy and salpingo-oophorectomies helped. Thus, I would get further checked out for other things going on. Oh, and yeah, hypoglycemia awareness can develop after that many years of T1D. I’m so glad she has a CGM! 💙💗💙

As a hygienist, may I recommend getting an Oral B Vitality electric toothbrush. The Battery operated ones do not do as good of a job as the mechanical ones that plug in😉
I just keep sunglasses and allergy meds in my middle console. Best of luck to your mom! My MIL just found a spot on her lungs near her heart. We’ll know more in a week or two. It sucks
I keep a cheap pair of sunglasses in the car for emergencies, but I keep my nice pairs at the front door table where I keep my purse and keys so I can grab and go. 🙂
That’s so terrifying. I have chronic illnesses that effect my blood pressure and heart rate. When I got the vaccine I ended up in the hospital from passing out as well. Hope she’s doing better❤️

That’s my theory too. When I am most inflamed, my blood sugars swing so widely, including lows. It’s better after my hysterectomy.

When he got his vaccine it caused him to go high.

Glad your mom is feeling better. That’s very frightening. Praying her levels continue to regulate properly. I’m sure her endocrinologist will figure things out. 🙏 Also we keep a garbage bag which is leakproof and attaches to the back of the car seat as well as a good stash of toiletries & first aid essentials. We like to be overly prepared lol. 🥰

I haven’t had that as a result of a vaccine, but I have had stubborn lows like that before. Inflammation seems to be the biggest culprit. And mine used to occur when I was on my period. Having a hysterectomy and salpingo-oophorectomies helped.
Thus, I would get further checked out for other things going on.
Oh, and yeah, hypoglycemia awareness can develop after that many years of T1D. I’m so glad she has a CGM! 💙💗💙

As a hygienist, may I recommend getting an Oral B Vitality electric toothbrush. The Battery operated ones do not do as good of a job as the mechanical ones that plug in😉

I just keep sunglasses and allergy meds in my middle console. Best of luck to your mom! My MIL just found a spot on her lungs near her heart. We’ll know more in a week or two. It sucks

I keep a cheap pair of sunglasses in the car for emergencies, but I keep my nice pairs at the front door table where I keep my purse and keys so I can grab and go. 🙂

That’s so terrifying. I have chronic illnesses that effect my blood pressure and heart rate. When I got the vaccine I ended up in the hospital from passing out as well. Hope she’s doing better❤️
Me too girl, graves disease for me and BP and pulse always bouncing around. It’s crazy! I’m sorry you had a reaction to the vaccine, I was just tired and a little achey, I was surprised it wasn’t worse. Prayers for you and Alex’s mom.
