    I'd like to suggest using the Liquitex Pyrrole Red. It's a much stronger red and will make your mixture for purple work. I've used Liquitex pretty much exclusively now for many years and I agree their one dud color is the primary red. All of their other paints including the soft bodies, heavy bodies, and acrylic inks are really heavily pigmented and mix well across all types, including most other quality paints. Thanks for this basic primer. It's a great thing for folks starting out. Good job.

    Can this be used for impasto painting? Without anything to add to make it thicker?

      This is not considered impasto. However, it is thick enough to provide some texture when applied liberally and left to dry.

    Liquitex is good for leather jacket also?
