The reason why the Spartan SR model's boat is filled with water is that the rubber water jacket cannot withstand the water pressure, causing water to leak between the motor and the cooling water jacket during cruising. Replacing the existing rubber water jacket with one made of aluminum or another material will result in significant improvement.
Nice video! The batteries are a little on the small size (need some larger 5,000mah+ packs). Between that and them not being against the flood chamber side due to the crash was your issue on the self-righting. Cookeville Hobbies and Raceway....Been there a time or two.
You need to stack the batteries together not laying them down on the center of the boat more toward to flood chamber and push the batteries all the way forward for the spartan SR that’s normal water inside the hull, the boat leaks from the back of the flood chamber , motor water jacket and between stuffing tube and rubber gourmet
If your batteries are not placed and tight when the boat tries to Self Ride after a flip it won't because the batteries are now resting on the Hatch cover.
Mate Courtney is delightful! You should have her cohost all your videos with you, I'd watch them all (twice!)
Good idea!
To be a grasshopper for just 2 minutes! Wow 💨
Yeah that was funny!
PS I hit the like button (for Courtney LOL)
Pretty cool boat!
It’s is! And very fast too
Awesome video!!
I appreciate that
Traxxas should have built in telemetry voltage for their boats like proboat does. Other than that it's a sick boat!
Yeah so much fun bro!
That thumbnail looks good
Thanks man
Awesome video
Thanks man

@@asiringoringo1 thank man I’ll try that the next time I go out and see if it works!
Traxxas spartan sr is a beautiful boat I love it you should chek out the new PROBOAT SONICWAKE 48 8S.salute from the Netherlands.
@@peterdegrouw8036 that’s sounds sick!

Yeah they were in there originally but not tight enough
You need to adjust the trim tabs. That will make it stop doing wheelies.
I’ll have to look that up for sure! Thanks for the support!
Traxxas they are good Rc cars number one and nitro but for bout not good probou is tha best in boat
Definitely they make great boats!
Dang
Pretty fun!
Maybe hit reverse to fill it up with water, then it will flip back over?
We tried that and it still didn’t work, battery placement is prolly the problem
I want see som a nitro RC
Will do in the future
it didnt flip becuse you have your battery placed to muct in middel.. they need to stand a little to the port so it can tip over faster
Yeah I figured that out lol, I’m a new guy🤣
That boat is bad A!
I wouldn’t say it’s bad, just a lot of power
@@Everything__RC the look of it what I meant
