If he can be seen clearly on CCTV, the staff can show this to the Police and hopefully if he is known to them he can then be arrested, and no one gets hurt.. where i live this is what sometimes happens and gets reported in our local news.. Bet you were shocked though..! lol.

The staff in the shop were not really 😕. Yes very shocked. Can’t believe it happens in this country.
