I'm kinda with you in regards to Picard figure. When it was first solicited, and as I missed out on First Contact Picard, I was like ooo hells yea! Now im like...eh. There are other Exo6 figs I want to get first (Worf...TNG or DS9....lets go!) so I may let this Picard go. Now a Captain Seven...mmmm.
The Lower Deck statues look cool as hell to me. You can def see they take inspiration from Mondo's Rick and Morty figs. Again I have other figs that take priority but they do seem really cool. I'd need to make a separate display and space is limited these days for me 😔. Possibly in the future I happen to get more real estate and they are on discount...maybe.

Hey Ben, I saw the EXO announcement and came straight here. While I loved season three I may hold for a Riker if they make one. Love Picard but my vision of him is TNG error. Keep up the great work, I really enjoy your show.

Without the strength of season 3 of ST Picard I don't think I would have purchased anything from the Exo 6 line for that series but it ended so well with the final season I am now quite excited to add the lineup to my collection. I will say it's kind of interesting to have a series of high end sixth scale figures mostly made up of characters played by actors in their 70s and 80s. The quality of the prototypes we've seen from the series also gives me hope we'll get an overall higher quality crew that is better than the choppiness of the Voyager line.
As for the Lower Decks line... I'm mixed about it because I think they look good but I would have preferred fully poseable action figures over statues. The Rick And Morty action figure line proves you can take that highly stylized character design and make it physically work with multiple points of articulation. I also would rather Exo 6 keep focus on the sixth scale line since they really haven't knocked things out of the ballpark in terms of consistent quality...or the promised release schedule. The schedule and number of prototypes shown hasn't matched reality so far.
Well said and sorry for my delay in responding! I think exo uses multiple parties to build their lines. Often the proto looks the same as the final (for better or for worse) so with the protos looking strong for Picard season 3, I feel pretty confident they will be better than the soft voyager line! Picard S1 was alright, but complicated. S2 I loved with Q until the ending with Picard's childhood story. S3 was great. Personally, I just want Worf, Seven, oldman Q from the series.
