Do you know if there are oval circuits in Europe? I know there is one called Eurospeedway or something like that in Germany? Or maybe it is in England? I don't remember - but I never find any type of European oval racing on UA-cam. I think it would be a fun idea to try F3 or maybe F2 cars on an oval track! Formula 1 would never do an oval track... Although the Indianapolis 500 was actually a championship points scoring race on the F1 schedule in the 1950s and 1960s!! I would LOVE to see how fast a 2020 F1 car would be... They could adjust the hybrid system so that it lasted for an entire lap, and I think it would be awesome to see if it was as fast as an Indycar for just 1 flying lap - not a full race because they never hit the brakes at Indianapolis so the battery can't charge anymore - but for just 1 lap I think it might be able to do a lap average of 350-360kph... Maybe. The Indycar chassis used at indy 500 race has very, very little downforce and is more like a setup f1 uses at monza but with much smaller wings and probably only half as much downforce - so the f1 car has more downforce but that means more drag... So would 900hp f1 car be faster than 600hp Indycar that has probably less aero drag than the f1 car?... Lol I think about crazy stuff when I am racing online Sims and I tried Sim f1 car at Indianapolis but could not make the hybrid boost last an entire lap so it was slow for the last part of the lap. Anyway I talk too much lol... But do you know any oval tracks in Europe?
@@csonkaperdido CART and German F3 have raced on the Lausitzring two mile tri-oval, which is a unique track for Europe. However, there haven't been oval races there in a while, and I think only DTM uses the road course version.

Na not a chance. We like right and left turns lol🤣 plus we hav tested the screen drivers choose the halo instead. Easier for medical teams to get to the drivers ic can't get out of the car 🙄🤔😏
Damnit. You don't call off restarts until the field gets in the second turn. Throw the green then yellow from the starters stand and some of the drivers see it, some don't and the chances for a wreck go way up. I saw it happen at midget consolation races in 1973 and NASCAR Cup races in the 80's. Starter needs to pull in the green flag. Get on the radio "Gentleman that's a no go. " Then put out the yellow flag.
Stewart Low afraid a team might use it to listen to another team’s radio maybe? If a team member delivers a report at just the right time... that would be an unfair advantage, don’t know for sure, just an idea. I do see your point though. But yeah as far as I know race control and the stewards don’t have a talk to all drivers at the same time button. I certainly haven’t heard control or the stewards talk to all the drivers at the same time. Even penalties are told to the driver via the crew chief/strategist.
I wish they would get rid of Paula Tracy, Robyn Miller and some of the other commentators. Past racers don’t make good commentators, look at nascar. I turn off the volume and listen to radio communication.
They are so bad because in Indycar only 6 people are allowed to go over the wall and work on the car. In F1 there are like 10-12 guys doing the pit stop. That's why they are faster in F1.
@@viktorgombos4975 i think he was referriong to the all so frequent errors with not fitting the nut properly or putting the car down from the jack too early
They talked about it in some of the previous races, that the pit crews normally practice a ton for these stops, but due to covid restrictions they're way out of practice. That's why they made more mistakes than normal. There was still the occasional mistake in the 2019 season, but nothing like we saw here.
Yes! Finally! Thank you for posting these. As a European fan, I really appreciate this.

That would work, but the Indycar stewards have no communication with the drivers, it’s team only.
