I have been scouring the internet for something like this but I couldn't find any. No, it's not too slow, you speak just right for beginners like me. I only turn on the subtitles if there are words I couldn't figure out because they are not in my vocabulary (such as flocons d'avoine) or if there is a word I have forgotten (such as fauteuil 😊). So thank you very much for doing this. I look forward to your future videos. May this first episode be followed by countless more!

I try not to have the subtitles on all the time as I want to see how much I can understand. My bad habit - too much chocolate! My good habit - practicing French each day. It is something I can do as I recover from a serious back surgery. It is sometimes hard because the pain medication makes my brain fuzzy, but the other day I woke up thinking in French!
Jan I believe eating chocolate is a good habit, as long as you can stop before eating the bag 😅 You are very brave to keep studying even with a fuzzy brain! I can't imagine how hard it must be to recover from a back injury! But great job on waking up thinking in French, this is amazing 👏 PS : Your dog is super cute!

Une méthode consiste à mémoriser un script, puis à apprendre à le parler en douceur avec la prononciation correcte. Cela ne m'aidera pas dans une conversation, bien sûr. Mais pour moi, soutenir une conversation réelle est impossible pour le moment.
