Oh I'm so happy for Joe! I've been excited about this for a while so to see him actually do alright, considering he's in his late 40s, with professionals, an audience, and his poor anxious mind worrying him for months, this is so lovely 💕

Do you listen to chatabix? The thing that annoys me about Joe is his whole career was built on a persona that he doesn’t care about about anything and is mr laid back and yet in real life he is a crippling mess of anxiety and caring about what people think, he won’t ever just let go and tell anecdotes
@@dwaynedibley997 i did try to listen to it, but my ADHD finds it hard to concentrate on anything unless I'm really interested, and I quickly lost interest when listening to Chatabix. There weren't enough stories and anecdotes to keep my ear and mind, so I stopped. But I find this version of Joe on My Mate's A Footballer, and mixed with Patrick, quite intriguing and adorable. I also loved him on his episode on Parenting Hell.
I think you're right in how he built his career on the persona of someone who is really random and doesn't care about how others see him, but I also think that that 'character' isn't very rounded and quite flat and not very interesting. This is why I enjoy him even more now that he's been around for a while, and he shows much more depth and is more relatable. Like, as much as I liked the more one sided persona, I also want him, as a human being in the entertainment industry, to feel free to explore within his personality and play with different ways to express himself in creative ways 🤷🏼♀️
