Melo was a far more talented player and a far better point guard out the gate, and even he had his fair share of struggles with the physicality in the NBL. Bronny can barely bring the ball up the court and run a play at usc without being forced to pick his dribble up, he would get eaten alive over there.

I don't blame lebron for pulling some strings and I don't blame lakers for doing what they could to keep lebron happy but with this comes a lot of pressure on bronny and people will be mad if he never develops into a decent player. And don't tell me lakers are in the winning championship business. Lebrons best days are gone and davis will be hurt after game one. They simply are not a championship caliber team

I seen the video of Bronny James when they called his name and I couldn’t help but feel sorry for him. Maybe it was the camera view, but I just felt like for him, going to the LAkers at 55 was going undrafted and he was just hoping to hear his name before that. Hard to really feel happy when you know you got drafted because of your dad rather than your skills and talent.
It's going to show on the court too because he is being rushed into the NBA and it is going to hurt his development by trying to force him into something that he just isn't.

The Lakers drafting Bronny James is a sad day for the Lakers franchise and the NBA. Nepotism has no place in the NBA. Other NBA greats like Shaq and Patrick Ewing would have loved for their sons to have played in the NBA, but they didn't push the NBA to draft their sons like Lebron James to make their wishes come true. Also, l think the collusion by Lebron James and Klutch Sports to get Bronny James drafted over far more talented NBA prospects should be investigated. The integrity of the NBA draft has been tarnished forever.
