I don't know what they are releasing after this onto Chinese TV, but it's going to have to be something spectacular to beat this. Within the first 5 minutes they had me. It has it all. Duke Su I am far to old to be even thinking about this young man but COME ON, I'm not dead either. I love her over the top cousin and the fact that he and Wu Jinyan are in the Royal Feast and turns out to be a bad guy is wonderful to see he is an all rounder is great. Wu Jinyan is phenomenal in this role but then she always is especially in period drama's there is an almost ethereal aura about her.
I actually like how ambiguous the situation with the ex-husband is. He seemed to really love her but he still did what he did, and the reasoning was a bit poor. But we do see the princess is quite a psycho, so it could be a case of kill or be killed, still, the choice he made was meh. Loving his wife and betraying her like that. But he does evoke mixed feelings now, like he's trying to atone for what he did, and obviously, he's suffering as well. Very good drama so far
the princess actually became crazy after being sold where she was raped ..i hate both ex husband and the princess but i can still sympathise with what she went through before turning crazy but i can never sympathize with a man who betrayed his wife by getting manipulated by another woman

The x- husband, the princess… they all made unforgivable decisions and the life he lives is not what I will call living. And their own sad stories are difficult but it just shows that they are not excusable and somewhere down the chain someone must make sacrifice to stop this evil from spreading. Too bad x- husband’s mother couldn’t support her son and say: you protect your wife. Maybe we can escape, etc… but be it what will be. They would probably be killed but he wouldn’t be so hated
