I love that Eli and Robbie bowed to each other. Big difference from the first time they fought. They’re both great kids, just mislead. The choreo was amazing
Definitely glad the plot allowed them to fight since they're the only 2 kids with any real background in martial arts. Gave them the opportunity to really shine in the choreo.
They gave Carrie underwood a cameo as a way to thank her because when cobra was still a UA-cam original she posted about it and more people started watching it
25:56 fun fact: the move that Sam used there (where you launch two punches, one higher and one lower, at once) is known as the Yamazuki of Bassai/Passai. It's an *old* school Karate technique that is effective because people are afraid of getting punched in the face and instinctively block the higher punch aimed at the face and don't block the second lower punch aimed at the chest. Most sport karate fighters don't learn to use it or block it because their training is built around the rules and regulations of tournament fighting instead of the freeform of actual brawling or the classical training of old school Karate. In this instance Sam won a point by using an ancient technique that Tori couldn't see coming because she was taught modern Karate instead of classical Miyagi-Do.
Specifically it is generally regarded as being from the kata Bassai-Dai, since that is usually the place where people learn it. It also makes sense that Sam knows it. Shotokan is probably the most well-known style for their practice of it, but Shito-Ryu (Half-Hard Style) also teaches it, and as we know Shito Ryu was the style that Fumio Demura (10th Dan) practiced, thereby making Shito Ryu the martial art of Mr Miyagi. That also makes sense as the real Miyagi family (Chojun Miyagi specifically, who trained under Kanryo Higaonna) transformed Naha-te (Naha, the region of okinawa + Hand) into Goju-Ryu (Hard-Soft-Style), meaning both styles have the idea of half hard techniques and half soft techniques. This also technically means that Miyagi Do is not karate since DO means WAY, which means that Miyagi Do is its own martial art separate from Karate-do (Empty-Hand-Way), otherwise it would be called Miyagi Ryu Karate(do). Though they are literally made from the same source with Miyagi Do being a direct lineage art for the most part making them pracitcally the same. Compared to Cobra Kai which is really Tang Soo Do, you would be splitting hairs to not call Miyagi Do- Karate. Anyhow, the point of her doing it, along with her unusual stance choices, technique choices, etc. was likely to demonstrate that Sam was essentially using the "everything AND the kitchen sink" method. She used not only the methods she was taught for practical use, and the specifc metaphor-style techniques she was taught such as the round kata she learned with Robby, but also kata she has likely never utilized in a fight prior to that moment. It also could be part of the reason she failed, mirroring Johnny using Miyagi Do for the first time and losing to Silver's experienced and honed offense (granted Johnny was still rocked from the first kick and the trachea hit)
I can only imagine now what path Kenny will go down next season after his loss to Robby and his beat down of Anthony. What Robby did to Kenny was brutal, but that may also just have awakened a beast within Kenny that we saw a glimpse of when he beat Anthony. Season 5 is going to be an incredibly interesting and anticipating arc for Kenny and I have a strong feeling that Shawn is going to play a major role in it.
They could have fleshed out his character development a bit more though. His transactions from good to bad to good felt so cheap and, sometimes, inconsistent.
@@tktak5926 It was shown, if you mean you wanted more then yes i agree, but this show has a shit ton of characters already and i think they still somehow manage to write them pretty well.
@@unknownsword9042 My man, Hawk was on full Sasuke mode the entire third season then all the sudden he sees Demitri (the same guy who he was bullying, tried to fuck up over a dumb review, vowed vengeance for embarrassing twice, and freaking *broke* his arm) getting his ass beat and out of nowhere he's one of the good guys now. And if that wasn't sorry enough, they made this man's growth trigger his freaking hair like that shit ain't something that can grow back. I honestly like Hawk, he's not my favorite but he's a very interesting character; they didn't do his growth justice. It would've made *way* more sense if Hawk saved Demitri but stuck with Cobra Kai. He'd be conflicted, which is a very important part of his character as we saw with the medal of honor, and he'd be on bad ground with Kreese because of his lapse of "mercy." Demitri, feeling like his best friend is still in there, would try to reach out to him for some episodes. Instead of a corny (but still kinda endearing) music video, we'd give the binary brothers a well-deserved emotional fight where Demitri uses Hawk's anger against him or something similar that makes Hawk realize that he's in desperate need of balance in his life. We give Hawk to Daniel where he gives him one of Mr. Migayi's great lessons on balance and they have a Rocky/Creed-like montage in which Hawk finds his balance at the end by apologizing and making up with Moon and then he wins the tournament. You honestly can't tell me that they couldn't cut out some of Kenny's screentime to do something like this.
@@addollz6192 I don't think we really needed Kenny and Lapusso could've stayed that annoying comic relief without being as involved in the story as they were. More screentime for Hawk.
Robby and Tory definitely get the award for most improved characters. Although I enjoyed season 3 the characterization of both Robby and especially Tory was dreading, and everyone knew from a mile away that they would get together and I hated that idea so much. However, not only do I think that they make a great couple, but they were given solid stories. Robby became a teacher and Tory became a student. Robby became a mentor figure to Kenny and wanted to be the brother that Kenny needed. He kinda took the role of Shawn in Kenny's life. Robby didn't follow Cobra Kai, but instead he thought that he was controlling and using Cobra Kai for himself until he realizes his mistake. I must admit that Robby went from one of my most despised characters to one of my favorites this seasons. Tory for once learned something outside of the dojo and became the student of Amanda. I would as far to say that Amanda became a mother figure to her. I know that Tory has a living mother, but like Kreese said, she isn't exactly healthy to be their and give Tory the advice she needs in her life. Tory is given a proper reason to ask for help and it isn't selfish because it's for her little brother as well. My favorite moment is when she tells Sam, " Hey, are you okay?". It's a simple gesture, but she didn't need to do it.
Robby got better mainly because Tanner improved as an actor. He was so bad in the beginning. His improvement is impressive. He would have never been able to do such a powerful scene with Johnny in season 1.

Miguel’s major challenge this season was ultimately figuring out himself and where he fit into all of this .He realized later into the season that he was not fighting for himself this time around as much as he was fighting for Daniel and Johnnys ridiculous rivalry. along with a lot of his other internal struggles; such as his strained relationship with Johnny, his financial future, future relationships, need to know where he came from, etc. all of this plays into his emotional struggle and it’s gets to the point where he’s just over the entire thing. hes more than a trophy. he’s more than some crazy rivalry. he wants to figure out what HE is fighting for. that shows maturity in him that he has always had. and I know he’s being set up for bigger things in the future. I can’t wait to see where he goes. Miguel not fighting in the tournament was not out of character at all in my opinion. Miguel has always been one of honor and a clear mind. He’s always fought for the right reasons and knew when he was going to far. his heart was not in this tournament. he had so much other things going on that were quite frankly more important than a tournament. that, along with Johnny pressuring him to go back out and risk possibly injuring himself more, showing that he did not have his best interest at heart and wasn’t fighting for himself. his journey is set up long term. he needs to find closure to come back full circle. I fully believe he will come back stronger than ever. he fell and he will rise again stronger.
I agree with you, he just wasn't in the right mental state to fight. Miguel normally makes pretty good decisions for himself, and not fighting in the semis was really wise.
Another small thing I just noticed- Kyler is EXTREMELY loyal to Cobra Kai, and really does celebrate every victory they have. He's the first to go up to Tory on the mat and pick her up, the first to invite the CK kids to excursions like the movie, and always comes back for more even when beaten. He has SO MANY good qualities, buried under his asshole personality
If anything, he’s still a grown man hanging out with a bunch of kids (from a realistic point of view. Lol.) But still, I feel like he should’ve noticed something weird was going on with CK when he didn’t see Johnny or most of the original students.
@@ItsKeysama Yeah that and framing another man for the crimes of another is very dishonorable. In Stingray's case, he sees Cobra Kai as the only place he ever fit in. The idea of losing that and getting an opportunity to get it back is a huge temptation. Unfortunately Silver knows how to push the right buttons and he knew Stingray's weakness.
@@darthroden I’m agreeing with this it’s sad but this is how some ppl are and besides I saw stingrays face he also seemed scared as of how he’s nearly beaten to death too he got in too deep there

I really thought the choreography in that fight really dragged it down.. you can see the difference in actors like Tanner Buchanan (Robby) and Jacob Bertrand (Hawk WHO ACTUALLY MOVES AND STRIKES LIKE AN ACTUAL FIGHTER MORE THAN ANYONE ELSE IN THE SHOW). And then compare those to Peyton List (Tory) and Mary Mouser (Sam).
I cried so hard for Robby, cheered so hard for Eli, felt for Kreese, and feared Terry. The last two episodes were so amazing and intense, this show is the best.
1. The fight choreo gave me CHILLS the Robby v. Eli fight was something serious and Tori v. Sam was great too!!! 2. I love how they finally emphasized and maybe broke through to Daniel that more than one style is great 3. I’m mixed emotions because I was rooting for Sam yet happy for Tori and I wish Tori could’ve gotten her win on her own. 4. My crazy fan theory: Stingray’s real name is Raymond Pierce, and his sister he’s been freeloading off of is Julie Pierce, Mr. Miyagi’s final student. She’ll be out for payback on Cobra Kai.
@@robbirob557 I noticed a few too many moments in the show where it seems like they’re going out of their way to not say what his last name is. And now there’s a nameless, faceless sister in the mix? Feels like there foreshadowing, planting seeds.
The character that had my favorite character development was Hawk. Mans went from defenseless, to bully, to balanced, to All Valley Champion. He's also the only character to train under Johnny, Daniel AND Kreese. So he was already bound to win. This show's writing is freaking incredible.
Still kinda ironic how the after all these fights we’ve had this season, the one person who didn’t throw punch (at least not until that cop.) is the one who gets arrested. Lol.
I hope this show doesn't pull some power creep garbage because someone like Silver shouldn't be able to touch Chozen. Chozen is the only classic character that *never* retired from martial arts and has lived his life dedicated to his craft. No amount of cocaine or revenge is gonna transcend that.
I love that they brought in Chozen. The deal wasn't that Miyagi-Do had to close, the deal was that Daniel had to stop teaching. Chozen is also Miyagi-Do, he can serve as official sensei while Daniel simply assist while supplying location and students.
Robby was the only character that couldn't be influence by Cobra Kai. Everyone else did. When Robby stood up against Silver, "Do you want to fight him?" proved that Robby did not care about what Silver had to say or what he was thinking. He said it himself, he had so much hate for Johnny and Miguel that he just wanted to control that hate and he thought that joining Cobra Kai would help him take all that hate out. Even when everyone else, Silver, Kreese, Daniel, Johnny, Miguel, Sam, Hawk, everyone was worried about learning which technique was better, Eagle Fang, Cobra Kai or Miyagi Do, Robby did not care what way was the best, he used whatever he had to use to fight back. Robby leaving Cobra Kai and joining Johhny is what would bring everyone together, even Sam said it in episode 1 of season 4 and I think this is what will happen in season 5. Robby's redemption is one of my favorite storylines this season. Never stop these reactions. I look forward to these reactions daily. Thank you.
You didn't get Daniel's point to Robby. It's not that Robby taught the CK Dojo Miyagi-Do, it's the intention behind it, which Daniel says to him. He's doing it to get back at Daniel, Sam, his father, etc. His passion for revenge. That's why Robby pauses there for a second and has a gulping moment. He knows deep down Daniel is right. Which we see after Cobra Kai wins, Robby looks at his father and just stares. Daniel was right, even though CK won, Robby doesn't feel satisfied.
Robby and Hawk’s fight is probably the best in the series to date but the forms Sam used with that soundtrack gave me chills. And having both Daniel and Johnny with her when she lost is heartwarming
I can actually guess what Robbie's character Arc would be next season. I mean, he's going to make up with Daniel, get Daniel to let him back in school the same way they did with Tori, and, he's going to use the fact that him and Kenny are in the same school now, to try and reform kenny. Can't wait for season 5
sorry to ruin this honestly, that's what I thought it was gonna be first too. some scenes were released of robbies and johnny in some kind of FBI facility I think they both went to Mexico to help Miguel
I think Johnny is gonna take Robby to Mexico with him to find Miguel and that’s where Miguel and Robby will finally get over everything that happened. The. They’ll all come back to put cobra Kai to sleep once and for all
It's DEEPER than just a competition. Johnny was almost using Miguel as a pawn. Miguel used to love fighting for Johnny cause it was his fight too. But now, he probably realized the tournament was simply not his war to win.
When Silver said "This ref would never end the match on a technicality" get a new meaning when you realize Silver pay him and with the win secured, he still wanted Tory to hurt Sam in the eye.
The problem is if Sam just outclasses Tory (like Hawk vs Kyler), there's nothing the ref can do. What the ref can do is influence the little calls that tilts the match into Tory's favor, such as the out of bounds and giving Tory a warning for the elbow instead of possibly deducting a point. Silver knew Tory wouldn't get DQ'd unless she did something so egregious like grabbing a chair from the stands and giving Sam a chair shot, which is why he told Tory to throw another elbow into the other eye, because he was confident the ref wouldn't disqualify Tory or penalize her too severely.
If I'm being honest, the original Karate Kid movies were at most, decent. The writers of this show really took an average movie trilogy and turned it into something amazing, props to them.
@@jesuspernia8031 I was literally mentioning them as a group. Read my comment again dude. The first movie standalone is amazing, the 2 after (especially 3) were bad. But damn you got real angry, you ok?
Eh this show is very entertaining but it's getting overrated now - all the drama boils down to misunderstandings and it's very soap-opera like but at least it offsets that corniness with good characters
Kreese to Johnny: "I cared more about you than anyone." My daughter: "Yeah, you only tried to kill him twice." 💀💀💀 He does care about Johnny, but he *loves* Tory.
He loves both of them, but he realized that he had to let Tory do what she wants because of his mistakes with Johnny. That's why Terry refers to Kreese's weaknesses as Johnny Lawrence and not Tory.
Sams fighting style was based of the Weapon combat she did at the beginning of the tournament. She is fighting like she has invisible Sais in her hand. So her preferred choice of style is based around weapons combat
28:48 Johnny was right that point where it “seemed” out of bounds. Sam actually got that point and when Tory elbowed her she should’ve lost a point which was why Terry was like she can keep doing tht since he found out he was keeping their deal
I agree Sam should have gotten the out of bounds point but the elbow wouldn't get a point deduction. That was just Johnny backing his student. The ref in KK1 wasn't bribed and Daniel suffered worse without Johnny being point deducted. Same for the first all valley where Miguel purposefully tugged on Robby's arm. Tory's action was clearly an accident and it didn't do any real damage. Not worth a point deduction. Johnny saying something doesn't necessarily mean the writers are using him as the universal measure of truth. They want it to be source of contention to fuel debates but I honestly think the ref made the right call. It was only worth a warning. If it happened again that would be another story though
Daniel apologizing and opening up about being set in his roots had me cheering louder than when Hawk was fighting. Then they hit me with the Kreese character development and I was cheering even louder. Ngl I clapped when Silver tricked us tho, I love a good villain
Daniel’s biggest weakness as seen in Cobra Kai is than inspite of all he’s achieved and how far he’s grown, he’s never been able to leave Miyagi’s shadow to become his own man. That’s why he was so fixated on defence only in sn 4 instead of adapting and adding offence.
The two fisted punch is called "Yama Tsuki" (the mountain punch). Not coincidentally, it's banned in almost all tournaments because it's harder to defend from.
Karate Kid 2 vibes with Johny and Miguel in foreign lands... Chozen and Daniel teaming up finally to take down Terry's evil Cobra Kai empire... Season 5 is gonna be lit!!!!
I’m so excited y’all finish this season, with growth from Robby and his dad Johnny that hit home. Hawk being himself and winning , Tori actually showing some concern when she fought Sam and the end with Chozen teaming up with Daniel epic🔥🔥🔥💪🏾
Man, I just realized that Episode 9 was the Fall of Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang, and Episode 10 was the rise of Cobra Kai taking over the valley. This 2 part finale was crazy. Can't wait for Season 5 Also, Anthony finally got what he deserved
I see the Miguel / Mexico story going one of two ways, either A. he finds his father and after 16/17 years, he is a changed man who found redemption in karate because it's the Myagi-verse so of course karate is gonna be involved, everything is centered around it. The dad's past is gonna catch up to him via enemies he made before fucking off to Mexico to start a clean slate and he will likely be killed off... OR! Miguel searches everywhere and follows every lead but cant find his father only to see both Johnny AND Robby there to make sure he is safe and to bring him home, Miguel realizes that Johnny really does love him like a son and that Johnny while not blood, is his father. This will allow Johnny to mend the relationship with Miguel and for Miguel and Robby to finally put an end to their feud because all they really want is their dad. Personally, I'm a bigger fan of the second scenario but we will see. I know there are set images for season 5 of some Hispanic looking dude who might be Miguel's dad and some signs outside of a building that might hint at another dojo but if I'm being honest, I would not be surprised if that is just the showrunners throwing us off and making us think we know what's coming when we really don't because they got something more meaningful planned. Cobra Kai started with Miguel and Johnny, he is Miguel's "father" and that is the heart of the show so introducing his real father into the show kinda taints the spirit of the show. I could be wrong but what do you guys think?
Or option 3 his dad is a piece of shit but Miguel looks past it cause the dad covers it up and after a rift forms from Johnny going aggro with his dad its later revealed to be a bad guy to Miguel who works with Johnny his new father to beat up his biological father and they return.
@@geraldjames7719 Exactly. Robby could use both styles, but it was seeing all the other Cobra Kai doing Miyagi-Do that bothered Daniel. And Daniel is hypocritical but we literally see why he was so gung ho about having things be the Miyagi-Do way in the next episode.

@@dandremiller1107 eh, I mean yeah Daniel was clinging on Miyagi but the show could have definitely betrayed that better with another karate style but not an extremist like Cobra Kai. Daniel's insistence that there is one right way to fight makes me think his overall experience with other martial arts and martial artists is severely limited.
Stingray is no doubt desperate to belong somewhere, but I think a lot of people miss the fact that he's probably also scared of the psychopath who put him in a coma just to frame his war-buddy. I honestly wouldn't be shocked if Terry eventually beats someone to death, and Stingray's probably thinking the same thing.
I liked that Robby finally realized how bad Cobra Kai is. I thought this season he was gonna go full on Cobra Kai but he seemed very level headed and self aware. I also like that next season is gonna very focused on Miguel. They also got the goat Chozen back. Season 5 is going to be a banger.
i was rooting for miyagi do very heavily. I didn't expect that at the beginning of the season. so mad sam got cheated. proud of hawk and getting his confidence back tho

They fr predicted the future They said Mike would come back and Robby and Kenny would face off and instead of Johnny going to Mexico He bought Robby with him
Robbie’s dialogue to his Dad just fucking kills me. Four seasons building up to that and it felt so impactful. But it’s unfortunate that Kenny had to go all the way down the dark path for Robby to understand. You guys have made my Friday night, Thank you!
I know a lot of people hate Sam, which i don't get at all but i really loved her this season. I hope she is grows even more next season! I also hope her and Tory can finally move past this stupid fight they have. I don't know if they will ever become friends because i don't think every character has to become friends in the end. That's just not realistic. I just hope people can start seeing Sam's side of things too not just Tory's side. I like both characters and i am so happy you guys can see both sides too! That last moment with Robby and Johnny was really good and it was really greit acting from the guy that plays Robby.
Tory will go full Purge Night on Stingray to save her hero Kreese, and in turn he adopts Tory and her brother to keep them together. The two characters fighting alone find redemption in each other.
I dunno if this is a hot take or not, but Anthony LaRusso(LaPusso) deserved every ass kicking Kenny gave him. Kenny wasn't hurting anybody, and Anthony and his friends bullied him relentlessly and cruelly. Every beating Kenny gave to Anthony was earned.
idk if yall notice this but Hawk literally does the eagle waddle walk when he's on the mat, just look back in your head and think about how eagly walks
Think about how Terry started off this season though, reminds me of Unforgiven how such a unassuming character like socialite Terry became a proper villain by the end through the influence of Kreese and getting just enough of a push to go back down his path from before. Remember, he didn't WANT to go back.

@@OVision-yf6xv No I believe you on the Parallel with Johnny and Kreese. Johnny actually wanted Cobra Kai to be better than his was, Kreese wanted it to go back to old ways, and when he brought back Terry Silver back into the life, he just made the situation worse for himself. There's also another parallel as well with Daniel and Robbie, remember when Daniel punched that guy out in Karate Kid III, and it shook him, and then you see Kenny beating up Anthony, and that shook Robbie.
I would love to see them react to Raising dion the new season just dropped and i feel like sheera’s mother instincts will make the reaction even better
Sam is definitely going to get darker in season five. Just look at how she was getting angrier and angrier and more confrontational through season four, and then look at how the season ended for her - She finally gets her dad and Johnny to work together, finally gets the go-ahead to be more aggressive and to find her own karate style. And she still loses. Remember what Sam said after the fight "we did everything right, and we still didn't win". I could see that as a tease for Sam to say "fuck it" and go rogue
@Brian's Channel God, I hope they don't pull some nonsense with this. Like, Tory would be ready to move on, but then Sam comes out the woodwork with a sucker punch.
Personally i believe Tory will leave Cobra Kai, because Kreese was always in her corner, in a way she is his weakness now. And honestly i could see them just handwave Kreese's jailtime away. Maybe Stingray giving in and going "well, i said John Kreese, because he's the last thing i remembered" or something like that and it won't be enough to pin down Kreese, so they check in on him from time to time, but let him go, maybe they have some better solution. In any case, i do believe that he will get out and get his redemption arc (the police checking up on him would be an added incentive to keep to the right track). I further believe that since Johnny will be gone to Mexico to look for Miguel, Kreese will somehow get with Daniel and Chozen. Why them ? Because him and Chozen have similarites, they both are "villains" that redeemed themselves, after all, if Daniel can make peace with Chozen, why shouldn't Johnny be able to make peace with Kreese (who really tries to change this time) ? So i believe, Chozen will kinda be buddies with Kreese and by extension Daniel will be tentatively fine with him being there, which would be further tension between Daniel and Johnny. Or maybe they go a totally different route, but this all fits the melodramatic quality the show is going for imo. Either way, i have absolute faith in the writers, they know what they are doing. Also, what if Miguel's father is actually a good dude now ? Sketchy past, trying to be better, sound familiar ? The drama writes itself :) PS: Amanda is the best character in season 4, fight me ! I will die on this hill. Runner up goes to Terry Silver ofc, that twist was dope !

25:56 fun fact: the move that Sam used there (where you launch two punches, one higher and one lower, at once) is known as the Yamazuki of Bassai/Passai. Yeah it’s in the cobra Kai game
Bro robby was a straight menace for doing that to kenny. He was just messing with him and then kicked him down hard 💀
Yo, Robby unleashed his inner Madara this season. I hope they let him keep this badassery and not let him regress to his S1/S2 self.
broke his shit 😭
He is gonna stay as bad ass as he is but he just isn't gonna be a bully / puppet
@@jasonchukwu440 I'm tryna figure out if Kenny's brother is.going to join with Kenny or if he is gonna to be mad at Kenny for becoming a bulky
I like how Hawk's Character went full circle! That's why he's my favorite! Also that Father and Son scene made me emotional ngl.
They could have fleshed out his character development a bit more though. His transactions from good to bad to good felt so cheap and, sometimes, inconsistent.
@@tktak5926 It was shown all of season three......
Well said 🎯

Ok
I agree with you, he just wasn't in the right mental state to fight. Miguel normally makes pretty good decisions for himself, and not fighting in the semis was really wise.
Are you joking me? The guy who tried to mince Robby's arm twice for shits and giggles never wanted to hurt someone? Are watching the same show?

Another small thing I just noticed- Kyler is EXTREMELY loyal to Cobra Kai, and really does celebrate every victory they have. He's the first to go up to Tory on the mat and pick her up, the first to invite the CK kids to excursions like the movie, and always comes back for more even when beaten. He has SO MANY good qualities, buried under his asshole personality
Yeh that's honestly his only problem as a person is that asshole personality which he has a lot of.
Season 6 ;)
@@OVOJermey lmao comes full circle
Stingray did that because of how Kreese treated him when he came back. Kreese told him he’d never be cobra Kai and Silver gave him his chance
That's cool and all but he's a grown-ass man and he's crying over teenage karate...

Almost. Would have been more anime if they had used their fighting spirits to burn their shirts off.
That double punch from Sam was actually a Miyagi move lol.

My crazy fan theory: Stingray’s real name is Raymond Pierce, and his sister he’s been freeloading off of is Julie Pierce, Mr. Miyagi’s final student. She’ll be out for payback on Cobra Kai.
That actually makes sense. And that's why he is so obsessed with karate
That's a pretty cool theory honestly.

The character that had my favorite character development was Hawk.
Mans went from defenseless, to bully, to balanced, to All Valley Champion. He's also the only character to train under Johnny, Daniel AND Kreese. So he was already bound to win. This show's writing is freaking incredible.
Hawks definitely my favorite character and one of the best written characters in the show
This show is just so good and even if some characters annoy you sometimes you still love them all 😭
Lupa's reaction to the end of Episode 9 is absolutely perfect. 😆😆
Kyler about to fight Hawk: "Wait, why do I hear boss battle music?"
Kyler's Brain: "Hey, remember what this kid did to our friend's face?"
They really gave Kreese juuust enough redemption to make us feel sorry for him when Terry Silver pulled off a Top 5 anime betrayals of all time
Still kinda ironic how the after all these fights we’ve had this season, the one person who didn’t throw punch (at least not until that cop.) is the one who gets arrested. Lol.
If I remember correctly, the actors for Eli and Robby were the best fighters irl which makes their fight even better.
I still can't get over how awkwardly the actress for Sam "plays" soccer in that soccer scene. 😂
Just the moment when Kreese shows he changed his way of thinking and had some character development Terry’s like : wait that’s illegal !
Sam was saying “What?!” at the end more so because she was shocked that Tory would ask if she’s alright
Chozen has always practiced an aggressive form of miyagi do. This next season should be wild.
Kreese phones Daniel like, "Our deal is off! That rat betrayed me! Kick his ass like your sensei kicked mine!"
Thank you.
Cant believe y’all did both episodes in one😭 your reactions stay in the S-tier😂💀
Notice the 3 best fighters are the ones who were taught both styles, Hawk, Robbie and Sam…proving the 2 can work!
Bruh Sam pulled out the Earthbending moves out of no where😂
Carrie Underwood is a massive Cobra Kai fan. She said participating was a no-brainer.

@@nuraby_9228 yeah but technically the ref was useless. Tory was out of bound when she got hit and the hit was an accident.

Sams fighting style was based of the Weapon combat she did at the beginning of the tournament. She is fighting like she has invisible Sais in her hand. So her preferred choice of style is based around weapons combat
Great catch
Fun fact: The person who bert scored on is actually Terry Silver's stunt double
28:48 Johnny was right that point where it “seemed” out of bounds. Sam actually got that point and when Tory elbowed her she should’ve lost a point which was why Terry was like she can keep doing tht since he found out he was keeping their deal
Also in the match before, that other girl was clearly out of bounds when Tori hit her. Though I doubt it would have mattered in the long run.
Hawk deserved that win.
Especially when he could've finished the fight early but the time ran out.

I don't know why, but I'm really happy that Johnny was happy that Sam won the fight against Piper.
13:30 Miguel asked "Whose side are you on?" in reference to the night before, when Johnny said "I love you too Robby."
robbie vs hawk is one of the best if not the best fight in cobra kai so far
Can't wait for Season 5
Also, Anthony finally got what he deserved
It was also the rise of Eli (not Hawk)
@@eddiekoleno2291 and it was the fall of ile
The Robby v Eli fight was top tier 🔥my favourite fight of the whole show
I see the Miguel / Mexico story going one of two ways, either A. he finds his father and after 16/17 years, he is a changed man who found redemption in karate because it's the Myagi-verse so of course karate is gonna be involved, everything is centered around it.
Option 4: Miguel eats more tacos and calls fatfobic anybody who dares to mock him.
Dude that would be so sad if Miguel met his father only for him to be killed off. Miguel has been through way too much..

@@wtfheim he was mad because Robbie taught moves to his enemies after teaching it to him in confidence. I mean do you honestly think he would have said anything to Robbie if he was the only one using the techniques.
Silver is unhinged, unchained, and has no emotional connection to Johnny or anyone.
Season 5 is gonna be insane.
Took four damn seasons for Danny to realize there’s other ways to approach a fight💀
I mean; when the other option is most likely the Cobra Kai way, I don't blame Daniel for being skeptical.
@@tktak5926 besides cobra Kai the problem was that he was clinging to the memory of Miyagi like he said in the show. He was so stuck on Miyagi he didn't want to even acknowledge the fact that there other styles of karate(includng cobra Kai) cobra Kai might be more aggressive but it does have it's pros as well as cons but so does Miyagi do.
@@dandremiller1107 eh, I mean yeah Daniel was clinging on Miyagi but the show could have definitely betrayed that better with another karate style but not an extremist like Cobra Kai. That’s like saying Obiwan is clinging to the past for not letting Anakin fight like he a sith, it’s just not a good method to show it
Daniel's insistence that there is one right way to fight makes me think his overall experience with other martial arts and martial artists is severely limited.
Robby looking at Kenny like damn. I made a whole ass monster
Tears!??? This the first time I’ve seen them watch an incredibly sad scene and not finding a way to laugh 😂😂😂
i was rooting for miyagi do very heavily. I didn't expect that at the beginning of the season. so mad sam got cheated. proud of hawk and getting his confidence back tho
"Don't blame yourself, blame me"
"I'm sick of blaming you dad"
*Mutual embrace*
Jesus.. this show 🙄.....
😐😢😭😭😭😭😭 Right in the feels man
I swear I was waiting for a Miguel and Robby rematch but the Hawk vs Robby was even better. Hawk finally got his revenge on Robby for ruining his mohawk.🦅.
Was just months ago when Miguel learned to walk again, he isn't at his 100%, also he was going through a lot emotionally and that unbalance him
Why do ppl think just bc someone apologizes that makes it better lmao Sam Kenny Miguel Tory Robby the way they reacted to the way ppl treated them is completely justified
Shera: I want Eli to win so bad
Me : shera should have her own tv show call THAT SO SHERA because her prediction are on point everytime
Crazy how moon is actually Miguel's girl irl.
Not gonna be the same without Cobra Kai For a while😔
They fr predicted the future
They said Mike would come back and Robby and Kenny would face off and instead of Johnny going to Mexico He bought Robby with him
Sam trained with mr miyagi she's a head of everyone in pure experience
FINALLY, THE REACTION WE ALL WAITED FOR!
I can tell that Season 5 is going to be the BEST Season EVER!
When billy zabka (the actor who plays johhn lawrence) says its going to be the best season you know its about to be fire
Hopefully they don't drag out the drama and they move on the story, if all goes well, this show could end in season 6.
Oh I can’t wait fr
@@coolestburrito3487 I think having S6 is already dragging things. I want it to end in S5.
@@OsSas3welp that’s not gonna happen
Robbie’s dialogue to his Dad just fucking kills me. Four seasons building up to that and it felt so impactful. But it’s unfortunate that Kenny had to go all the way down the dark path for Robby to understand.
You guys have made my Friday night, Thank you!
But to understand what? Why his dad left him?
I know a lot of people hate Sam, which i don't get at all but i really loved her this season. I hope she is grows even more next season! I also hope her and Tory can finally move past this stupid fight they have. I don't know if they will ever become friends because i don't think every character has to become friends in the end. That's just not realistic. I just hope people can start seeing Sam's side of things too not just Tory's side. I like both characters and i am so happy you guys can see both sides too! That last moment with Robby and Johnny was really good and it was really greit acting from the guy that plays Robby.
Sam’s karate got a huge upgrade this season!
Tory will go full Purge Night on Stingray to save her hero Kreese, and in turn he adopts Tory and her brother to keep them together. The two characters fighting alone find redemption in each other.
Oh damn i never thought about that kreese adopting tory.... Very interesting idea
Sam getting hit with that “final form” power up BS
What do you mean BS it was set up well
I have no idea what he says at 14:08 but the way he says it is so funny😂
It's the tatsumaki a kick from the game street fighter
Hawk when Moon kissed him: Masculinity energized. Hormones regained
Next season = miguel and robby/tory + sam finally becoming friends.
idk if yall notice this but Hawk literally does the eagle waddle walk when he's on the mat, just look back in your head and think about how eagly walks
Think about how Terry started off this season though, reminds me of Unforgiven how such a unassuming character like socialite Terry became a proper villain by the end through the influence of Kreese and getting just enough of a push to go back down his path from before.
Remember, he didn't WANT to go back.
Kreese should've left Terry alone.
@@omarcogle1965 same thing happen to Johnny. He invited Kreese into Cobra Kai and he took over. idk if I’m reaching as far parallel go, but I pieced that together after finishing the season.
Kenny turned a straight menace
Sam is definitely going to get darker in season five. Just look at how she was getting angrier and angrier and more confrontational through season four, and then look at how the season ended for her -
She finally gets her dad and Johnny to work together, finally gets the go-ahead to be more aggressive and to find her own karate style. And she still loses. Remember what Sam said after the fight "we did everything right, and we still didn't win". I could see that as a tease for Sam to say "fuck it" and go rogue
@Brian's Channel God, I hope they don't pull some nonsense with this. Like, Tory would be ready to move on, but then Sam comes out the woodwork with a sucker punch.
roshi was literally blinking back tears and i was bout to cry
The drama writes itself :)
PS: Amanda is the best character in season 4, fight me ! I will die on this hill. Runner up goes to Terry Silver ofc, that twist was dope !
Amanda is cool but the best character this season goes to Silver, Tory or Robbie for me as the top 3, Amanda is underrated though.
Cobra Kai is the definition of 80s sequels (or ANY sequels) DONE RIGHT!!!
