Not all sign painter are men!!
In my younger years this gal lettered everything from sides of buildings standing on a stage between two extension ladder to 10' x 30' highway billboards and everything in between. I'll be 80 in a few months. I have great memories working at an outdoor advertising company in Sioux City, Iowa. 🎉

Sometime you just have to work with what you have. I've lettered signs on rough board and it's not a very pleasant thing to do. I wish you the best on your show.

I hear ya!. I lettered on just about everything in my younger years as a sign painter. My expertise were pictorials advertising on 10' x 30' highway signs. I painted the 4' x10' wood panels in the shop. Some people thought I painted the billboards on sight. 😂😂

Stalls and market's really can be a mixed bag but you only need one customer to make it worth your time
