KLIAS WILDLIFE SAFARI RIVER CRUISE - PROBOSCIS MONKEY & FIREFLIES
Boat excursions in a mangrove forest reserve home to proboscis monkeys, macaques, crocodiles and fireflies.
We took the KLIAS river cruise to look for proboscis monkeys (you know, the one that has really huge nose) and also to see fireflies.
This cruise is inclusive of tea break and dinner.
Proboscis monkeys not only have really odd looking gigantic nose, they also have a huge tummy but they are able to move about very quickly.
The fireflies here are beautiful. There are so many of them that they lit the trees like Christmas tree. I am so happy that we get to capture their light on our phone camera coz the last I went for firefly sightings in Kuala Selangor, we were not able to get good shots as there wasnt enough firefly around.

Yes it is. Nice adventure though. First it was tricky but once our eyes are used to the sight of these monkeys, we can spot them better and faster.

Where did you book for the Cruise ? It looks amazing ! Is the attraction still available ? I saw in TripAdvisor a comment saying that the area is abandonned. When did you visit the Klias River ? Thanks in advance !
