you can always just make multiple versions of your tracks, mono for playing out and stereo for making mixtapes and compilations. I found out something really interesting about Virtual DJ, when you switch VDJ to mono, you will lose one channel an lose audio details of that channel. You can test it by recording two distinct sounds in each channel. Let say, drums on one channel and the bassline on the other. Play it on VDJ in mono and you will hear only one or the other. I did this last year.
@digitaldjtips My point is that the value of these "5 killer features" doesn't justify the price vs. performance/flexibility that's available, and it *definitely **_won't_* make you a better dj. The value isn't there. Call it the 1200 euro/pound/dollar AlphaTheta tax.
There is no good reason for the discrepancy between DJay versions other than being Apple fans. VDJ does really great stems on both platforms. I'm a Windows user and hate the current Apple. So I can't use DJay. Not that I'd want to with the only option being taking a subscription.
Well, if they want to keep getting gear from all suppliers for demonstration purposes etc they better not be too critical in order not to piss off the companies. "Don't bite the hand that feeds you.. DJ gear" 😅

my mistake, you lose one channel but both left and right channel recordings are combined on other channel
Interesting - I've never had that issue with Virtual DJ! Sounds like a bug.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
👏👏👏👏👏👏
The network thing between the laptop and the unit has been on engine for the last 2 years.
I think my sc live 4 has all these 🤔
Good for you
I want the XDJ-AZ so bad
get the Prime 4+ instead of this overpriced stuff
@ Oh it is so overpriced, yes. BUT, it’s too similar to club standard to NOT practice with it.
Professionals can work with Denon, records, and even gear from Gemini or Alpha Theta. Be flexible. @@_AvgWellInformedCitizen
You literally could get a MacBook Air _and_ a Rev7 (or Performerfor, Prime 4+, etc)for the same money... 💰 🤑 💸
What's your point?
