I just got up to see you do my favorite power ballad. I watch all of Liliacs music videos especially the originals cause they are bringing back the art of music videos I enjoyed in my 20s. I bought vol 1 of their DVD and can't wait for more. The Papa Liliac wrote the string parts. On his Instagram I saw a little of his score, I zoomed in, and I'm amazed at how he is so talented and I believe self taught. I have just enough knowledge to be dangerous. Lol The choir I believe the kids said they were friends and Fangs some from Santa Monica days. Yes, you guessed it, they were home schooled. Ethan and Justin are still home schooled. I believe that the oldest 3 advanced out as quickly as they could so they could put their heart and soul into this very very special family band. I loved your reaction. Normally I have no, none, nada complaints about Liliac, but I'm not a fan of the choir. They could have done okay with the orchestra and some other break down, but MEH, on the choir. In MY opinion.
@@kimacronym2521 it's not so much the curriculum but the social standards/tolerances that the education system is struggling with. I'm Canadian and it's the same shit, different pile up here!
@@kristabakare5377 I truly believe that it is politically wanted in the US that the majority remains "uneducated", easier for conservative politics to maintain power. If you cannot read the newspaper, don't understand science (Covid a good example...), you believe everything the leadership says. If you went to University, speak different languages, read material from different sources and countries, you will not believe the easy lies. If politics want better education, they will put more resources into it, e.g. smaller class size (15-20 kids instead of 30+), select best teachers, make teaching a higher income profession, etc...

That being said, I agree that homeschooling is the big wave of the future and the ONLY viable option to raise well-rounded and well-educated children. It seems this song is a farewell to all around them in California where they had to pack up & move to Georgia. For loved ones, buddies, best friends, etc. Each one had their own group of people. At least, that's how I like to take this song in. Super good & I love the mixing done by Florin. He is a awesome sound engineer.

They definitely didn't come out of the California public school system! This is my second favorite all time rock ballad. That is saying a lot because first is Turn The Page by Bob Seger so that is saying something, besides I am old.
Did school online at home. The older three sat the exams to finish up a little early at 16. Only the younger boys are still doing online. The online school was CA based, I wonder if they can still use it after shifting to GA?

Yes...Home Schooled/Tutored. Sam, Abigail and Melody graduated at 16 after writing the California State exam.
It doesn't reflect well on the US education system that home schooling is better......
