    Looks delicious, we Guyanese cook hassa deferent with head on and coconut milk and not the peas or stuffing, but I'm gonna try it😚

      With okra, tamarind, and green mango!!! Also, you salt the hassa overnight. We have the coconut milk version, and curry version-both are delicious!! I like to see how Indians in different countries cooks it...

      Dee TheEmpress It is very delicious. I actually don't eat it but I tasted it that day and it's really sweet and nice. Not sure which fish to compare it to. If anyone knows, please comment ☺

    My favorite fish sweetest part is the head Guyanese stuff it with salt and sugar we dont put peas in it we cook it with coconut milk

    In french Guyana, it's "atipas". We use tomatoe and coconut milk.

    You suppose to leave on the head and suck out the curry and sauce from the fish mouth lol.
    I does see grandma them eating it so.

    and hey, whenever cooking strong flavored fish, soak in regular milk for 24 hours, then soak it in lemon or lime water for another 24 hours, then cook it, it will lose the fishy taste 100%. I know sometimes Cascadoo does have that fishy muddy taste.

    That fish is an invasive species of catfish...don’t know who decided this look delicious but I personally don’t find it appealing.....im sure the curry is great though.
