Walksnail still has some things to improve. BUT, unlike DJI, they DONT have the full backing of money from the Chinese communist government, thousands of slave laborers or most youtube influencers shilling over them in free promotion. So I feel good about supporting them and their amazing product that is leaps and bounds above DJI in some points but not all.

As I am into micros try the Walksnail 1S VTX stuff, huge weight savings, and great for building light quiet stuff and be amazed 😊 that's why it's Walksnail for me.

How is the walksnail latency on the vrx with hdzero goggles compared to the latency of the orignal goggles themselves. Cheers great vids

there are a LOT of videos on that. Stinger Swarm has a good one. I dont have HDZero So I cant personally compare. I use the Fatshark HD3's and I love it. They're considered the worst goggles to us the VRX on but personally I love it. Stinger says HDZero has the perfect screen for WS VRX

what power settings are you using for your VRX? bitrate is soo stable!

What ever the highest one is... 700mw maybe? Not sure. I'll check. I soldered it to a 9v filtered pad on the FC board rather then vbat. I think that makes a world of difference in a stable consistent power.

@@BrysonMichaelRC 9v is far better than the vbat pad imo. I've tested out all the output powers, 700 seems to be the best with a diversity vtx, 1w and 1.2 are good at medium range but fall out faster at range. I'm using nearly the same setup as you for goggles, FS v3 goggles and VRX.

@@BrysonMichaelRCjust as a heads up, with my Avatar HD running on a 9v filtered pad, blew that BEC out about 6-7 flights after I put it in my quad. I’ve since ran a Matek independent BEC and haven’t had an issue since. Welcome to the snail trail my friend! Happy flying!!

haha ya they are a chinese company beholden to the CCP as well but DJI is their golden boy with they're hands in everything. They beat out caddx by billions of American $$'s. CCP isn't as invested in a small FPV community like they are a world wide industrial drone company like DJI who has the ability to spy on and GPS map millions of sensitive sites. but... I have been wrong before
