Ianna Spirit Riders on Circus Flora 2009

The Ianna Spirit Riders is currently the only youth circus bareback riding act in America, and is trained and choreographed by Jennifer Buck. The program was born from a unique collaboration between O'Ryan vaulting (providing equestrian training), Circus Harmony (providing circus training) and CIrcus Flora, to keep alive the fine art of dancing and gymnastics on the back of a galloping horse - the very origin of the modern circus. The Spirit Riders are a unique fusion of competitive vaulting and classical circus bareback riding. Performers: Rosie Eastman, Lemond Carmickle, Elliana Hentoff-Killian, Keaton Hentoff-Killian and Claire Kuciejczyk-Kernan with horses, Lance and Easy.
