That beat at the end was so grimy, i love it. Bet that would make a sick guitar cab as well.

Thank you! I was going to demo some other instruments like electric guitar but the video was getting a bit long. It adds a unique character to pretty much anything you send through it. Some frequencies get lost a bit but the overall result more than makes up for it. I’ll eventually seek it into another video😉👍

Now, my mind thinks that a person could model this somehow using standard plugins like clearly the lows and highs are less (EQ) and the cymbal will ring for a while from certain notes (feedback setting on a delay) and the distortion effect (uh... distortion plugin) and maybe a ADRS to control the onset of sound sent to the string of plugins so you can hit it right off the bat or fade into it. Seems kind of possible but probably not an exact model of it. Cool results. It just sounds like some horror movie soundtrack right off the bat.

Thank you! Yes, Hainbach has a gong amp plugin that’s along this idea. I’m always more partial to equipment having a direct connection with it’s environment. I even like it when analog gear reacts slightly to environmental changes. I love that stuff👍

@@CashMattock Yeah, it's fun to experiment and see what kind of things you can come up with.

@@TruthSurge hey man, if you ever want to cover any of my songs I would be honored. I’m sure you could sing them better than me and you would probably not get any copyright hits👍 cashmattock.bandcamp.com/album/the-wreckage-alphabetic-unmastered ✌️cheers!!

Dope! What app you're playing on?

Thanks! Are you referring to the Bebot app? I explain in the video - it’s simple but I think it works well because it’s easier to make a matched pair for testing and showing how the exciters react with each other. I would have much preferred choosing something off my test equipment wall but two identical units can sound a bit different due to age, components, etc..
