- The Guadalajara light rail system (Spanish: Tren ligero de Guadalajara), which is operated by SITEUR (Sistema de Tren Eléctrico Urbano, Spanish for Urban Electric Train System), is an urban rail transit system serving the municipalities of Guadalajara, Zapopan and Tlaquepaque, in the state of Jalisco, Mexico. It is owned by the state of Jalisco, and operator SITEUR is a state authority. Opened in 1989, the system consists of three lines: Line 1, running from north to south with 20 stations; Line 2, running from the city center to the east with 10 stations; and Line 3, running from the north-west to south-east with 18 stations. ~Wikipedia

I still remember that time of the trolleybus, when at the end of its journey, there was no return to start the route again, but rather there was a circular platform, then they climbed onto the platform and only turned it by means of a mechanism and they were already other side was cool
You should have recorded the Line 3. It's an elevated railway and connect almost 4 cities of the Metropolitan Area (Zapopan, Guadalajara, Tlaquepaque and it reaches a little section of Tonalá). The view is terrific and you enjoy travelling all over the city.
Its been on my channel since Sep 2021 ;) ua-cam.com/video/pWv-3G7t14g/v-deo.html
omg then ignore my comment
Mmm 11qq1
Hola. Es un video muy lindo. Gracias por compartir. De Japon.
Fun fact: US, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Panama, Botswana, UAE (so far) and Israel all use the same general grade crossing technology. The Netherlands, Romanian, Czechia/Slovakia and Italy are pretty close also but not fully. Romania, however, has a singular Safetran Type-3 microphone present in Buftea
Hmm, the US/Canada/Mexico/Australia/New Zealand/Panama also follow the North American road signage conventions. Can’t explain Israel though, which largely follows the European standard.
@@MTM358 Israel uses American crossing signals but with Russia's St. Andrew's Cross for the crossbuck
Fuck israel
Guadalajara, my beautiful city
Very amazing light rail system and super amazing video 👍
I live in Guadalajara and never thought see a video about the light rail haha, greetings!
Interesting light rail system!! Colorful too!! Thanks Tim😀😀
Guadalajara 🧐🍷🎩
The construction of the Guadalajara metro line 4 is starting in 2022
It looks very nice
Thank you Tim for an extremely interesting video! I have a question. In some shots (eg at 12m 45s) we see an area at the end of a platform marked with a bicycle symbol. Is this an area where people park their bikes, hirebikes, or ......?
This is a place you can leave your personal bike in. Bikes are not permitted on the trains except on Sundays due to overcrowding.
Yes, you can park your bike in some stations
@@Tapatioxen Thanks. 'Bike-and-ride' is a very good idea. In my home country of Britain hardly anyone cycles to their local station. Contrast the Netherlands - just across the North Sea - where 45% of rail passengers cycle to their local station!
@@raul_mtz Thanks for the information!
Fantastic video my friend 👏👏👏👏👏
More GDL Stuff. Nice.
Muy buen video y bonitos trenes. Gracias Tim.

You missed line 3 of the light rail, you recorded the ugliest
Always check on my channel for additional content: Actually Line 3 has been uploaded since September 2021 ;) ua-cam.com/video/pWv-3G7t14g/v-deo.html
Why is it so familiar. Just surprised you finished the video without getting robbed
Train system is safe, stupid

Good.
You only recorded the 1 and 2 line but didn’t show the newest 3 line
It's in a different video
Slightly different mode than light rail so separate indeed ;)
El famosísimo "Tren Pitero"!!!!!! 😂😂😂🤘😎
Please make a video of the Metrorrey metro light in Monterrey , México.
