Awesome explanation on the logic behind the equation. Thank you for all your free resources. I just finished watching your math without a calculator series and I appreciate the knowledge deeply!
Omg MashaAllah what a beautiful and wonderful explanation! You are so kind giving this wonderful knowledge for free great source for students who can’t buy online learning thanks alot god bless you❤
Diluting the base would decrease its concentration. Therefore, you would have to plug in a new concentration for A- in this equation for your diluted base and then, using the pH of the solution that you're given, solve for the pKa in a similar way.

Why can't I find one without someone using the Henderson equation, our professor doesn't want us to use it, because one doesn't fully understand what they're doing usually when using it, want the ice table long version
I'm sorry you're having trouble finding a video like that for your class, but this video is specifically designed to help students prepare for the MCAT. So I only gave the shortcut. You have to use a regular ICE table for the full version.
LOL, a thousand moles of HCl will not fully dissociate in a liter of water. There are 55.5 moles of water in a liter. One thousand moles of HCl will absolutely not fully dissociate in one liter of water. Not enough water molecules to accept that many hydrons. If you are going to make chem vids, you better have it right. LOL
Crystally clear explanations! It does NOT get better than that. We love you for empowering humanity. God Bless.
Wow, thank you !
Khan academy needs someone like you
Haha thanks, but why? My videos are just as accessible on UA-cam :)

How do I calculate Pka if the weak base was diluted and made up to 100 ml while the acid was not?
Diluting the base would decrease its concentration. Therefore, you would have to plug in a new concentration for A- in this equation for your diluted base and then, using the pH of the solution that you're given, solve for the pKa in a similar way.
