It is my DREAM to open a wedding dress boutique. I’m in college right now and don’t know what path to go for my degree. Did you get a business degree? Or any degree at all?
I would say a business degree would take your far and intern with a designer if you lived by me you could shadow me but that’s what I would do. Good luck and you’ll do great. Xo

Hello, you are doing well and seem so confident in what you are doing as a young person. I recently started my bridal gowns business and have my first potential customer coming today to view a dress she saw on instagram. Hey there, I have a bridal shop also, how do you do your water for the tea... this has been a debate in our store.
Hi! We have a large water kettle in the back and use tea bags since it’s more manageable:)
What's your best advice about opening up a bridal shop ?
Be prepared to reinvest into your business for the first couple of years! So either save up before hand or have some sort of other side hustle to help you pay your bills!
How did you fund start up? I have my LLC and found vendors
Taking out a business loan, pulling investments and finding a potential investor. It is 100% taking on a risk no matter what you do:)
Did you hire employees right away or did you go without them at the beginning when you were starting out?
A good chunk of the first year I was solo. Today I have 2 employees that mostly work weekends.
@@olesyapavlyuk thanks! did you ever have customers get upset that you couldn’t help them when you had an appointment or were you appointment only. I’m trying to figure out if I should do appointment only if I’m going to be alone
@@lorenagonzales6704 We are still appointment only. I think it’s the best way to actually have an organized space especially in bridal since you do want to make it an amazing experience for the brides:)
