What a great interview! What a smart, down-to-earth lady. Totally relate to what was said about better sleep and a calmer state of mind. And about drinking becoming boring.
Hayley, you're an inspiration. I love your story. You speak so well, so much wisdom. Congratulations. Simon will have to do a follow up in a year or so, I'd be so interesting in all you achieve moving forward 💕
Thanks Simon. Well done for taking that step and I hope you are continuing on your journey. If you need any support then please check out www.besober.co.uk
Hayley is very intelligent, her decision to priotise her safety in the moment is a lot more valuable than raking the coals of the past. The time for that will come when one is adjusted to living without the booze. I wish her the best on her journey. She's earned her escape from the prison of alcohol.
I love the phrase "Under the influence" It really does describe what happens to our life with drinking. We slowly slide under the influence and power of alcohol and most of us have no clue it is even happening. We can see the power of the influence. Some just think it's fun. And even that is being UNDER the influence.
