They’re just never happy because they want everything “their” way. We have happy customers than we have “entitled” customers. If you work in customer service than you understand.
Everyone has to remember that Walmart employees aren't trained very well. I have worked there three months and never work at the same area each day. Also, there are too many Walmart employees telling new employees conflicting information.
Just out of interest, does your shop have an official training booklet/booklets? Were there ever a conflict of what constitutes "correct" operating procedure, surely "doing it by the book" resolves the matter at least as far as accountability goes (whether or not it has yet been updated) does it not?? Something very similar used to happen with me when I worked in retail when I was younger - one supervisor might say that "saving" a transaction might be acceptable practice [while say the customer goes to withdraw money from the bank had they forgotten to bring payment], whereas _another_ might say "no" because of (maybe) possible health and safety risks (say - fresh and frozen foods and drinks thawing became my unsubstantiated suspicion) whilst they were away - all kinds of intercompany conflicts. I was very young when it that profession, so I suppose what I would do today were that to happen, would be to consult the most updated edition of the training booklet, and adhere to it - querying anything that I wasn't satisfied with, with head office - and getting responses in writing.
Actually NO! I've worked retail as a sales person, my job did not include calming irate customers. I had to deal with them for short periods and I did the same thing each time a customer got in my face. I pointed to the manager's office door and said, "If you have a complaint, there is the manager."
Oh G*d! You're not one of these "the profit taking employee has to always be right"-types are you?? Five + years since your remarks - you're not *_still_* of that mindset to this day are you??
I’m not the “employee has to be right” type at all. I’m more of the “sometimes employees make mistakes and you don’t have to get all man babyish and record yourself acting like a child because you had wait ‘20 whole minutes’ and cuss the employee making little more than minimum wage” in other words I’m a decent human being.
I've been doing customer service for nearly 20 years. Since the pandemic people have become more rude and nasty and for some reason believe they are always right. I'm sorry but if you come at me with a nasty attitude you're going to get it right back. Call that what you want. I'll do everything in my power to help you, but don't act like a child.
He got slammed because he argued with the customer , its not an honest mistake when you lie to a customer , but , he shouldn't carry all the blame , his manager failed at training him in correct procedure , which involves not arguing with customers . fwm
Seems more like he was just being lazy than making an honest mistake. This particular customer seems fairly justified in being pissed off in this situation.

So the employee made a mistake. He might be new. So let’s scream, make a scene, and treat the guy like dirt. I work in retail and see this behavior often. Like I said guy could be new or maybe not sufficient training. You don’t know! Why can’t people be upset yet still be respectful and treat each other with some dignity. This is not the end of the world but yet many people encounter a negative experience and act like it taking others down with them. And the videotaping is uncalled for. Putting the guy out here like this. There’s just no need.
@Alex Howe You are not better than anyone. Neither am I. We are all equal. By your comment, you present yourself as lacking understanding/compassion for another human being, cruel, arrogant, and you cannot spell. You need to grow up so that you can function as a well balanced human being.
Profit giving paying customers should - *ALWAYS* - without ANY exception, be considered as priority number 1 in ANY business. Not the other way around!!
I know right. With all that overtime pay, he should be able to afford to buy a battery from Auto Zone, Pep Boys, or plenty of other places besides Walmart.
Respect is earned not given, you treat others how you are treated you don’t let anyone punk you out and you stand your ground. You deserve the same respect you are asked that’s how it was raised. If you come at me disrespectful don’t expect me to treat you any different.
Walmart is NOT the place to buy a car battery or to get your car serviced!... That’s why there are service centers like Firestone. I bought my battery at Firestone and get my car serviced at the dealer (even though I have to pay a little extra, they KNOW my car). You pay for cheap service, you get cheap service!
As a former Walmart associate, I worked everywhere in the store. I also worked the service desk, and put up with customers who would go off on you. Even if you call a CSM, there still will be the time you have to wait until they get there. I also bought a car battery there. I do not go to Firestone for anything. Firestone installs inferior after market parts, and does not stand behind their work. I have been there. Firestone caused $4000.00 worth of damage to my vehicle, and most of the work had to be done again. I use Goodyear.
@@ericknoblauch9195 I don’t go to Firestone anymore. That post is 4 years old and I now drive a hybrid car so I don’t have to shop for a battery. I lease my cars now so I get a new car every 3 years. Yes, Firestone tried to rip me off too and that’s why I stopped going there.
I worked at Walmart this is the kind of behavior customer would have when stuff wasn’t done their way. In my opinion the customer is NOT always right, customer sometimes just wants to be an a-hole to get stuff for free😒
Employee makes a mistake, sure, maybe they did drop the ball. I used to work in customer service, and I tell you. I would not of taken your attitude if you screamed at me or any of my employees that way. You do you bro 🤷♂️
if you get an attitude with people then don't be surprised when they don't want to help you. like the old saying goes you catch more bees with honey than you do with vinegar.
You dont catch bees with honey. Bees make honey. They have lots of honey already. Why would a bee fall into a trap that has honey as bait. I think i will go home now and make some more honey".

Calling it a generational thing is prejudice and ignorant. There are rude and awful people at all ages. You can’t even see the customers face to know how old he is.
Being an elder doesn't entitle you to respect. If you're an ass, I'll call you one, and I don't care about your age, I don't owe you anything. You want respect, give it in return.
they should have called the cops on him and had them come and maybe put a lot respect in this guy for his actions and not helped him until he could act right in the store there is a law in this country that says that us as retel workers can refuse service to anyone for an reason that needs to used a bit more and people will act right
You give an attitude and still expect people to treat you with respect? To get respect you have to give it!! Sooner or later you're going to give an attitude to the wrong person. Just sayin.....
First let me say I worked for Walmart for four years.....the associate basically lied when he told the customer that it couldnt be done back there.. he knew HE couldnt do it, he admitted that someone back there usually did it, just not him.....Walmart is the real cause of the customers irritation by having an employee not fully trained for the job.... they are also the cause of the associate's attitude and willingness to lie to the customer, because he ain't getting paid enough to deal with this crap..... Walmart doesn't care about their employees or their customers... because employees are a dime a dozen and the customers don't have a lot of choice as to wether to shop at Walmart or not, because they have run a lot of their competition out of business...
I totally agree with you And i seen how those managers came out the woolwork to handle the situation. WalMart needs to improve in making it easy for the employees.
Well as Walmart employees they should have known to call a manager to do the transaction. Walmart is so bad about crap like this all the time! He could have maybe handled it in a better manner but I can relate on why he was upset.
I kinda feel sorry for Bill. I’ve worked returns at Target and these companies change their policies so darn fast unless you work there every day, and are informed, you won’t know if something has changed etc. I’ve had a customer throw his car keys at me because i couldn’t do his return-no receipt and at that time, Target had a cap. I’ve had a parents at my sons school who we shared a mutual friend with call me an asshole! It’s awful!
Except Bill knew that a manager had to do it since he said "Someone always came back here to do it" so why send a customer somewhere else when you know it can be done there
Only time I've bought a battery at Walmart was half off. I really don't expect respect from anyone that works there , they barely get paid enough to live. Always calmly ask for the manager at customer service before causing a scene.
People that don’t work there , telling people that do how to do their job , if you know so much , you should be running that store , today’s retail business gives very little training , they used to give 40 to 45 hours to train , now they’re lucky to get a day , not fair to the customer , or the employee

So glad we don't have Walmarts in Australia! The disgusting people they have to put up with is unbelievable. Nobody should have to put up with rude customers who scream at them because they believe they are entitled to do so!
I work at Walmart and used car batteries can be exchanged, IF they aren’t actively leaking. But the way this customer went about trying to get it exchanged is likely the reason why the employees at this Walmart refused to offer customer service to him.
Personally I would have been upset too. You slep a 40-lb battery from your car to the automotive desk, then, automotive has you slep it all the way up to the front main desk. They tell you can't you it can't be done up there, it's hazardous material so you have to lug the 40-lb battery all the way back to Automotive again. And they don't expect you to be upset? I'd be so hot, you would be able to fry an egg on my head!
Christian Walker the man in the video probably did use the cart, I know I certainly would have . The point is, that the man at the counter sent him to the front desk with the battery, because HE didn't know how to do the return. Instead, he should have gotten someone down there who did rather than sending the customer to the front desk.
Customers are supposed to bring batteries to automotive. Automotive signs off on the receipt and sends the customer to the service desk so they can do the return.
Brandon Williams why the employee did not apologise to the customer? Maybe he never worked in Automotive before. Where were is customer service manners. Wall-mart send him to retrain.
Where I used to work, we had a policy to refuse service to rude and stubborn customers like this, and most people don’t understand that getting this type of service is a privilege. If you treat me like shit i ain’t helping you, sorry.
I worked for Wal-Mart for 22 and a half years and I had my share of dealing with assholes and there were many times where I had to put my foot down but I was respectful about it. I mean what is this A customer treats you like garbage and you are supposed to keep your mouth shut and take it? BULL SHIT! I tell them were done walk away and let the MGR deal with it!
I can understand the guys frustration but it is an osha issue meaning it had to be done in the automotive dept guy admitted but no you don't have the rite to yell at people there's this little thing that we as Americans have lost called RESPECT you work 70 hours your choice I'd get a better paying job. So I don't have to work 70 hours a week RESPECT PEOPLE WE HAVE BECOME SO SPOILED AS AMERICANS WE JUST STOP CARING BLESSINGS
Damn that manager sucks!!! I’m sorry for that old man employee he obviously doesn’t have your back when it comes to dealing with assholes like those! The crazy customer is already going off on him yelling and shit, and then the manager tells the employee in front of everyone to do his job! Thats so unprofessional! I would’ve quit right there and then!
Why do we treat each other like this? Everyone in the world is just so angry all the time. This is just so sad And im suppose ti believe when this world has a crisis we are going to help our fellow men out.
Management treats walmart employees bad, customers treat walmart employees bad. I worked at walmart, there is absolutely no "professional" walmart employee. They provide next to zero training. I had an illness and a major surgery I couldn't do my normal work so I took a job at walmart. Unless you are a manager there chances are you're struggling. The way you were talking to that employee was bullshit. I had a guy talk to me like you were talking one time and I was a fraction of an inch from breaking his neck. You should chill out around the mouth before you cause yourself an injury.
This how you should handle customer service don't argue with the customer, if he has the receipt that's all u need. Glad you handle the situation professionally.
us walmart employees dont get bad hours and always putting on a fake happy kind act for customers everyday to get disrespected, you can tell when someone has never been in a customer service job lol

I used to do Customer Service about 10 years ago. Battery is returned there.. and there are steps that have to be taken. Not sure why these employees were so un-knowledgeable. Many batteries also have VERY GOOD warranties.. If you have a new guy or if you're the guy that doesn't know what he's doing.. pass it on. Don't waste a customer's time. Also, no, a customer is not always right but you're not always right, either. The other employees are purely there to watch it as entertainment, haha. I work at a hospital now so I deal with 10x worse than this.. so it's funny when people hype about people complaining loudly in retail, lol. I side with the customer on this one.
Having worked at Wal-mart, no, the customer is not always right, but if you value your job, you have to treat them like they are... and in this case the Employee was wrong, and did not know his job.
As someone that works for walmart, this situation could have been handled so much better. Personally, I'd fire the guy behind the counter. He should have called a manager immediately. And apologized for misinforming the customer. Don't argue.
Shara, don't be a tool. This is retail and the customer was told in order to exchange the battery, he needed to do something specific. When he went to do that very thing he was told by store management, the idiot behind the counter tried to argue with him that he was not correct. The employee was a tool who did not have the capability to do his job and when he lacked the ability to do his job, argued with the customer, instead of calling management over for help. Which would have been the correct damn course of action.
Dustin McKenzie I don't agree, you don't fire someone for doing what they have been told to do, and I really don't believe you work for Walmart except maybe pushing the carts around
"I don't agree, you don't fire someone for doing what they have been told to do." Except for the fact I doubt he was told to lie to the customer. I also sincerely doubt that he was told to argue with the customer once the customer discovers his lie. Listen to the beginning again... The man behind automotive counter sent him to the front of the store, so he could wait 20 minutes, only to be sent to the back of the store, where batteries have to be returned. Batteries have to be handled a certain way, due to federal rules and regulations/laws. They are a hazardous material due to both the acid and the lead and they can not be disposed of. They have to be packed in a certain way and labeled correctly, before they can be shipped out. Paperwork has to be filled out for the transporting truck driver who takes that load.
I work at a wal mart customer service desk it is POLICY the return be done in automotive so that the battery can be tested, being as if it's not a bad battery, they can tell the customer of a bigger problem, and that way the battery can be recycled properly
I understand the customers point of view, but at the same time, instead of getting mad at the employee going off on him, he could have said “Hey, you gave me the wrong information, I’m a little frustrated, may I speak to your supervisor?” The employee did get a little snotty, but at the same time, think of it.. He deals with people like this on a daily basis, and I myself, use to work for Walmart, and I have had my share of some rude customer. For everyone that commented on this, let me ask you this. Let’s say this employee clocked out, he sees this annoying customer outside of work, let’s say the employee goes up to him, mind you he’s off the clock, and he confronts the customer that berated him at work, what’s the customer gonna do? What’s Walmart gonna do? Once an employee is off the clock, though it is highly not recommended, they can confront somebody outside of work, and basically tell the that irate customers out themselves and where they should go. I’ve done it before,”. I’ve seen this lady outside of work, that decided to harass me while I was on the job in Walmart, record me, and call me a faggot, and told me that she’d beat my ass,. But, funny thing is, I see this bitch at Mcdonalds a mile down the street the very next day, this bitch looks at me, and quickly turns away... You know why?? Because she knows that I am not at work and she knows that in public I’m not going to put up with her bullshit. I confronted her, and I’m not gonna lie, I Punched her, and called her a few derogatory names. Never saw her at Walmart ever again.,As soon as the employee is clocked out, when he is outside of work, and he sees this man, there is no “Customer employee relationship”. They are just two strangers on the street. So, whoever this is, don’t be surprised if this man sees you outside of work, and you end up getting your ass whooped.
Rightly said. I from UK and work in retail too and we used to have this rude customer come in all the time argue with us and say customer is always right and she pays us wages. Guess what? The woman works at a hospital near my house. My late mum (we lost her this year on April 15) had and appointment and I went with her. I saw that garbage woman working in hospital and she tried avoiding me but couldn't as she is a hospital worker(public service worker so in UK she is public servant) and her other colleague was busy. When she came out she was all smiley and professional. I didn't say anything than. What happened she arrived my mum in an hour late than her booked time we waiting for long time and doctor didn't call. After another colleague came back to front desk and I went to her to check why so late. She told me we were late I asked her how do my mum arrived on time. Lucky a patient waiting second time after seeing doctor was there and witnessed me registering my mum and worker asked who arrived my mum in I pointed to the other woman. Immediately she apologized and said she booked my mum an hour late after hearing this I was fuming and I confronted that btch woman about her incompetence and she should be working in hospital with public..I shouted at her like she does at my workplace and complained about her. I said to her I am the member of the public even at work but you are working for hospital public service so you get paid by us and we pay you your wages. She shutted up immediately as she was trying to defend herself and I told her to do her job properly. I complained to her manager and as on her and manager lanyard had full details of her and manager like full name, health service employee number and department I took it up with national health service complaints department by email who got back to me saying she has been dealt with. Not sure she there still because I don't go to that hospital anymore and also I don't see her horrible face at shop again after that incident.
Bahamut Zilla I agree why seriously complain when he has the healthy body to walk up there and what is 20 minutes of his day and also he is stressing his own nerves out by yelling foul words at the employees they don’t train them well it seems but he is causing stress on everyone with the way yells these people need to calm themselves down for their own health!
Dude, your at Wal-Mart. WTF did you expect. "He's a professional." LMAO. Now you do have a small minority of Wal-Mart employees that do try to handle themselves in a professional attiude but it doesn't last. I have always considered myself as a professional when I am at my place of employment BUT that would be an after thought dealing with some of the people who shop at Wal-Mart. So bottom line do not expect fast, friendly service at most Fast Food restaurants and do not expect professional service at most Wal-Mart stores.
@AL Capone has nothing to do with how much is being paid. Look at all these fast food chains bringing their base pay to $25 an hour. You think that will improve customer service or more of the same? Only difference will be their nails will be professionally done and wearing more expensive shoe while they disregard your presence as a paying customer.
I work in ACC and first of all it doesn't Better if he tested the battery or if Auto zone tested the battery we have to test it ourselves. Plus we can do those transactions, in ACC
Wal-Mart sold me dead batteries and when I brought them back for exchange they told me to get it out if the store it's hazardous ! They made me so mad ! Do not buy from them.
You always do battery returns and core returns in automotive. The guy at the counter was clueless about his job. On a return the system is supposed to alert a csm to approve it, if not they are supposed to page a csm to automotive to handle it. That guy just didn't want to fool with it and was trying to dump the customer off on the people at the service desk. No matter how the customer was acting, the sales associate was not doing his job.
It's Walmart, they rarely ever kick out a customer unless they are stealing or committing a crime. The customer more than likely got a free Walmart gift card and recieved an apology from management. I'm not saying it's right but that's just how Walmart is.
Every employee should be a professional at what they do. Even though he mad a mistake the customer has a right to be upset, but as an employee it's your job to apologize, fix the error and help the customer
Let's see the whole situation. Not just the video of the 2nd part of this. Next time go to sam's or Autozone, and have them exchange the battery and install it free of charge...Issue solved.
Ben Bennett no problem not solved. Whether the customer is right or wrong the cashier shouldnt have argued back when he clearly made a mistake, and continued to argue with the manager on the situation. You represent a business, act like it
The point of it is, it's a new day. Go to Home Depot, Walmart, Lowes, any of the big boxes and that's the type of service you get. It's not right, I agree...but it's our own fault for squeezing out the Mom and Pop stores, and not teaching our children better. The Walmart employee clearly cold have cared less about the customer, but the customer should have just called a manager. I would not have put up with his sloppy unprofessional attitude, but I know how to handle the situation, and it wouldn't have began or ended with a video posted to youtube.
This is a policy. Every Wal-Mart does this now. If you don't like it shop some where else. We don't even look threw your bags we just check to make sure the unbagged items are on your receipt because people forget.
My response when they ask to see my receipt "I am under no obligation to show a receipt, Do you think I am stealing ?" If they say no then I say "Thank you and walk out" If If they say yes I tell them to "call the police, and we can discuss unlawful detainment while we wait for them."
How many customers must Wal-Mart lose , before they start treating them with the respect that an American citizen deserves ? I still shop at Wal-Mart , so far they haven't mistreated me , other than 1 cashier in automotive being unfriendly to me , to whom I called out on how unprofessional she was and got a sincere apology . I by all my meds at their pharmacy , I've yet to see the lack of professionalism that I've seen in these vids , on anybody . Maybe its location , idk , but, Wal-Mart employees are friendly here , McDonald's is a different story . I complained about a manager their , to a different manager , who told me there have been several complaints on him , that was 7 years ago , he's still manager there . How do I know that ? My grandson went to work there , for a month , until he had a run in with the same manager , and quit in the middle of his shift . There are other unprofessional companies around here , that ill never frequent again , we won't go into those here .
Yes the employee should know what he was doing, you had a right to be upset but yelling non stop like you were is a bit childish. Quit yelling, and know your job. Simple.

Training is an Issue with walmart. Many employees are minimally trained and cannot fill roles in other areas. It's like they dont know what cross training is. 2 walmarts in my area had their money centers closed on a Friday afternoon because the only 2 employees that were trained in the money center were no call no show to work.

I was very young when it that profession, so I suppose what I would do today were that to happen, would be to consult the most updated edition of the training booklet, and adhere to it - querying anything that I wasn't satisfied with, with head office - and getting responses in writing.
Obviously the employee is going to argue back if you're screaming like you're crazy
Actually NO! I've worked retail as a sales person, my job did not include calming irate customers. I had to deal with them for short periods and I did the same thing each time a customer got in my face. I pointed to the manager's office door and said, "If you have a complaint, there is the manager."
I'd straight be ashamed to post a video of myself throwing a temper tantrum on some store employee like that. What a baby

He got slammed because he argued with the customer , its not an honest mistake when you lie to a customer , but , he shouldn't carry all the blame , his manager failed at training him in correct procedure , which involves not arguing with customers . fwm

You shouldn't have been that confrontational. You were causing unnessesary drama.
Sometimes when your frustrated Walmart employees will highlight the frustration and basically get you to react

You dont catch bees with honey. Bees make honey. They have lots of honey already. Why would a bee fall into a trap that has honey as bait. The employee made a mistake. There is no need to shout and holler like a mad man. He apologized to the customer. That should be the end of it.
This is our new generation, rude young people that “ know it all”. No matter who was in the wrong where is the GRACE? Respect your elders no matter what!
FYI not all of us are like that and there are plenty of your generation that are just as bad if not worse.
Respect is a two-way street
they should have called the cops on him and had them come and maybe put a lot respect in this guy for his actions and not helped him until he could act right in the store there is a law in this country that says that us as retel workers can refuse service to anyone for an reason that needs to used a bit more and people will act right
You give an attitude and still expect people to treat you with respect? To get respect you have to give it!! Sooner or later you're going to give an attitude to the wrong person. Just sayin.....
You’re right about that.
If you had talk to me like you did the Walmart employee. I would had cuss you out. I wouldn’t care if I got fired or hot
The customer was still a jerk though.
Ugh I hate walmart workers honestly. Always acting like they dont know shit or "oh let me get someone"
I totally agree with you
And i seen how those managers came out the woolwork to handle the situation.
WalMart needs to improve in making it easy for the employees.
Well as Walmart employees they should have known to call a manager to do the transaction. Walmart is so bad about crap like this all the time! He could have maybe handled it in a better manner but I can relate on why he was upset.
Can a worker get fired because of that
That customer wanted to dump on a guy who made a be MISTAKE! I feel like working at Walmart is punishment enough.
Why be a diva and record it?
I kinda feel sorry for Bill. I’ve worked returns at Target and these companies change their policies so darn fast unless you work there every day, and are informed, you won’t know if something has changed etc. I’ve had a customer throw his car keys at me because i couldn’t do his return-no receipt and at that time, Target had a cap. I’ve had a parents at my sons school who we shared a mutual friend with call me an asshole! It’s awful!
Except Bill knew that a manager had to do it since he said "Someone always came back here to do it" so why send a customer somewhere else when you know it can be done there
That employee made a mistake then, while verbally assaulted, kept as calm as possible. Retail jobs should advertise "thick skin needed"

I work at Walmart and used car batteries can be exchanged, IF they aren’t actively leaking.
But the way this customer went about trying to get it exchanged is likely the reason why the employees at this Walmart refused to offer customer service to him.
Some customers need to realize that some employees do not know about the department they are put in...
I've heard the working conditions at Walmart aren't very good. That employee didn't deserve 2 b talked 2 like that.
BIG John F Should get a cart next time then.
BIG John F well! FIRST OF ALL I WOULD BE SMART ENOUGH TO PUT IT INTO A CART!!! SO I WOULDN'T HAVE TO LUG IT AROUND!!! COMMON SENSE, IT'S A THING!
Where I used to work, we had a policy to refuse service to rude and stubborn customers like this, and most people don’t understand that getting this type of service is a privilege. If you treat me like shit i ain’t helping you, sorry.
The real question is what went on before the camera was on? This is a prime example of how not to act in public. I was raised different myself.

A simple solution…I walk away and let a manager handle nasty customers because I don’t get paid to put up with customers acting like children.
Why do we treat each other like this?
Everyone in the world is just so angry all the time. This is just so sad
And im suppose ti believe when this world has a crisis we are going to help our fellow men out.
NEVER...EVER...BUY Walmart Car Battery's, they are for chit. I bought back 5 in 8 months all bad, till they wanted to give me peice of chit #6, I refused. They said your 5yr warrenttee replaces your battery if it goes bad we do not return your money. I said do you see all these receipts for replaced batteries,I refuse... I am not returning my 5th peice of chit for you to give me peice of chit #6. They finally gave me a store credit.
Be better if the Walmart worker jumped over the counter and kicked this guys ass.
Bro it’s a fucking misunderstanding, it’s life dawg. It happens. I understand being frustrated, but you talk down to this man and he honestly probably didn’t know. I work in retail too, and I have been at the same store for 10 years and you have no idea probably how often things change. Things can be protocol one week and then change the next week and then go back to what they were the week prior. he should have known, you should also be more understanding and also quit talking down to people like you are better than them
" He's a professional " lol
As a Walmart employee who has worked service desk I know nothing about batteries but I do know we can give the core fee back but we can’t return a battery up there

I also work for Wal-Mart and the customer should of been treated with respect .
Not the way he was acting
As someone that works for walmart, this situation could have been handled so much better. Personally, I'd fire the guy behind the counter. He should have called a manager immediately. And apologized for misinforming the customer. Don't argue.
Dustin McKenzie the customer was disrespectful
"I don't agree, you don't fire someone for doing what they have been told to do."
Except for the fact I doubt he was told to lie to the customer.
Manager handled it well. Reduced the conflict and satisfied the customer.
I hope WAL-MART goes out of business.

The employee isn't the problem, it's the customer. If the customer had a problem then he should have talked to the manager in a polite fashion.
i dont sympathise with this customer and it just seems theirs so many boo hoo victims with cameras nowadays
Bahamut Zilla I agree why seriously complain when he has the healthy body to walk up there and what is 20 minutes of his day and also he is stressing his own nerves out by yelling foul words at the employees they don’t train them well it seems but he is causing stress on everyone with the way yells these people need to calm themselves down for their own health!
right.
Thank you for this comment.swear im less tense now.
Customers need to be held accountable for their behavior. Giving attitude is harassment.
Awww what a baby 😂😂😂
Your life will get much easier when you realize you do not go to Walmart for good customer service.
DOES NOT EXCUSE THE CUSTOMER'S ACTIONS. HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN KICKED OUT IMMEDIATELY
It's Walmart, they rarely ever kick out a customer unless they are stealing or committing a crime. The customer more than likely got a free Walmart gift card and recieved an apology from management. I'm not saying it's right but that's just how Walmart is.
He's not a professional, he's a walmart employee. Filmer needs to get a life.

And they say customers are always right🤣🤣🤣🤣
This is a policy. Every Wal-Mart does this now. If you don't like it shop some where else. We don't even look threw your bags we just check to make sure the unbagged items are on your receipt because people forget.
Kirsten Allen I've had WM greeters ASK to see my receipt as I'm leaving with MY purchase. I just say "No thank you".
Tod Porter than say no thank you and leave. We aren't allowed to hold you in the store. They're just doing their job. No one is allowed to detain you.
My response when they ask to see my receipt "I am under no obligation to show a receipt, Do you think I am stealing ?" If they say no then I say "Thank you and walk out" If If they say yes I tell them to "call the police, and we can discuss unlawful detainment while we wait for them."
Why be cheap go to an Auto Parts store to get a battery
Simple.
My Auto Electric instructor once told me that people should never buy any electrical parts at any Auto part store and should the OEM parts from original dealership unless you wanna replace the parts every few year. And it's true what he said
ive done this exact transaction before and that employee was completely in the wrong. u should've been in and out in like 6 mins max
256 bradley You don't test it 1st? You just take the customer's word that it's bad?
Wal-mart has a no questions asked return policy... they are just going to put it back on the shelf for the next fool anyway.
I would not last long working there. I would have told this guy what to do, and it would not be nice. People like you make it bad for everyone!!!!
I have stopped shopping at Wal Mart.
Training is an Issue with walmart. Many employees are minimally trained and cannot fill roles in other areas. It's like they dont know what cross training is. 2 walmarts in my area had their money centers closed on a Friday afternoon because the only 2 employees that were trained in the money center were no call no show to work.
