When you good at the keys u instantly knw what works and what don't.... Been following willafool since he's reason days. Mad love from Ghana West Africa
This was what the fan base needed. True musician cooking up. Him and Zay always going in! No loops or cheat packs...old school from scratch. Keep it going Fam!
I know I was thinking the same thing...He just blessed those keys and played how he was feeling...I want to thank his grandmother for putting him in piano classes and he stuck with it...
Interview 80% more important than the beat making 20%. It’s fun to see everyone’s different process on beat making but the interview is more intriguing IJS IMO
Yoo man I was heavy in high school producing beats on FL. As I got older work and bills slowed my abilities to produce to my full potential. I want to thank you guys for making these videos it's a huge motivation to me and upcoming producers. Anytime I feel discouraged with my beats or feel like I caint come up with anything I know I can always come back here and listen to these masterpieces. Thank you 🙏 🙏 🙏
It’s the same exact chord progression as the first lol. Trap music all sounds the same because producers are limited in their chord progressions. Same old thing over and over again.
@@thetruthsetsyoufree5000 even though that can be true... Most music out here uses the same progressions 🤣 whether its pop, rock, or trap... Thing with trap is.. you're mimicking a sound / energy... 3 or 4 notes over and over to like sound like the micheal myers intro and the same 808 pattern over and over etc
@@GoodAfternoonDave Everything I can get my hands on. I have electrax with some extra banks, purity, and serum (Non stock). Stock plugins i use are fl keys and flex mostly. I’m terrible at sound design but i manage.

Wow, I hear exactly what he's saying about quantizing too fine! I been messing around in GB for iOS and every chord sounds like a tin can. It's the quantize! When he played those notes off the d-ck it sounded more real and the melody was fire! He's got a good ear, I never noticed this. For those that couldn't hear it listen at 5:16 compared to 5:51 the warmth drops out! That's the beauty of learning from these world class producers you keep bringing in. Thanks Bolo! Thanks Will A Fool! Ya'll are inspirational!
If you into this music, then you know how dope it is to create. And to be able to see these dudes do it is equivalent to a hit. So Bolo you got another ☝️.
God's spirit 🥹 When my own people break me down.. it's emotional 🙏🏽 Lord, protect this man's energy. Bolo thank you for bringing him in - i'm working through the older videos again 🙏🏽🥹
Love his musical chops!!! He is able to hear a-lot of harmonic info when he is playing. Having good chord knowledge is a blessing. All those early childhood piano lessons does work. It might be boring while you're learning, but damn it makes all the difference when you need to make something that has a-lot of melodic quality. Will is a fool...on them keys LOL!!!
Never forgot about will always went back to his old videos of him cooking up his sound never gets old I will say tho I felt more of a relationship with him and reason vs fl
Like someone else in the comments said I love how he touched them keys and created the vibe right on the spot like Ryan Leslie or a Zaytoven I always think if you wanna leave a legacy and be sampled like how we sample the late greats. You have to be able to create you own original melodies. If not, your music will never be able to sampled or recreated. To a lot of people that separates producers from musicians when generations to come wanna sample something you created on your own. I think it doesn’t matter Sample based producer or real musicians type producers who actually play instruments is cool but as long as it’s dope That’s what matters…
Bake & Serve em' ... As a long time instrumentalist, who's learning how to craft and mix my productions ... this one right HERE ...was truly f%*ng inspiring!!
Now this was what i wanted to see. Original creation. Not knocking sampling and loops but sometimes i wanna see someone use the keyboard fully if that makes sense.
I haven't made or watched beat making videos in over 10 years. This was great. But also sad to see that people admire him for actually playing. That means that the current generation rely on loops.
In Atlanta will a fool is a legend go listen to that Song Hotboi by Bankroll Fresh. The 808 on that beat was invented by Will A Fool he had his own 808's that made him stand out along with his orchestra sounds and keys
That first beat will make a nigga cry. Soulful.
The way he play the keys gave me the chills!
That's that shit that speak directly to the soul!
AFTER WATCHING THIS I WANT ONE!!!🤯🔫💥✅👍💨😁 DAAMMNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wonder if Bolo realizes he's birthing a whole new generation of producers?! Thanks so much for this series. One day I'll be here cooking up too!
Bolos great and everything but he’s not birthing a whole new generation or producers if we’re be realistic 😂. No shade.
@@ikeaman7247 the series bro 😂😂 I’ve learned as much as I can from bolo already
Yes you will be
bro aint birthed anything lol
Bolo getting his money 💰 and I’m not talking about beats. Keep grinding bolo
He ain’t named will a fool for nothing!! Homie straight went crazy from scratch made his own loops!! Crazy skills 💪🏽💯

My nigga asked for the sustain pedal lol u know he nice on the keys lol
At 42 years old, that right there makes me want to learn how to play piano! Outstanding!
Go ahead and do it...I'm 39 and I'm taking lessons online...And love it. It definitely can help the creative process
I'm turning 29 in December and taking lessons. It's never too late to start, let's get it.
@@thabang2832 I know right...That's going to take us a long way
Ya comprehension at a level it’s never been at so it won’t be as hard as you think. Especially with UA-cam free tutorials
What are some good online courses? Is there advantages/disadvantages to learning piano online vs in person?

1 beat is the best I've heard in a while, thank you ,Will A Fool, for your work
That first beat's melody and instrumentation is FYE...100
I’ve watched this video at least 5 times just too see how he put together the chords / melody on that first beat. Heartfelt and done so effortlessly.
What are the chords?
That second beat was lowkey one of the greatest beats I’ve heard in while 🔥🔥🔥🔱
u new to music?
It’s the same exact chord progression as the first lol. Trap music all sounds the same because producers are limited in their chord progressions. Same old thing over and over again.

The second beat was trash the fade in snare role was the only good thing
Its crazy how many people are shocked he doing this without loops 👀👀
try making music with all your own original audio

GB for iOS is great for putting ideas down when you’re on the move. Just don’t apply quantization. Apple has created great UI’s for GB and LPX

5:39 - If you press ALT + S, it brings up the 'strumizer.' You can fiddle with the settings and 'offset' your chords that way.
