Amazing, the words coming out of an entrepreneur who has gone through it, felt it again again and again, ab kuch bhi hoga dheklengei feeling ke sath, just amazing!
And once when you start generating enough free cash flow why will one go for an expensive mode of funding? Companies will start using debt to grow like Reliance, Tata, Adani and so on
I have literally tears in my eyes, Shraddha after hearing him. I am also in the phase of exploring different problem statements to start my work on. These advices came at the right time. Thank you so much for bringing him on stage.
Ek white collar scam hua hai Paytm me. Shares list hue 2150 pe.. listing se girne shuru hue and nahi ruke.. Vijay Shankar ji sold it at 2150 and reacquired stake at dirt cheap price. SEBI should have stepped in to say promoter can only buy at listing price if secondary market it trading lower.. Investors ki maar Li ache se..
why is RBI putting a ban on Paytm Payments Bank, and most importantly what is Paytm/VSS doing to compensate the retail investors in India who lost money in Paytm so far?
I little disagree with his statement on about your story acknowledges the entrepreneurs pain. No they don't. They acknowledges the entrepreneurs success. And then only write about it And when you become successful everyone acknowledge you.
What I felt was, he was not genuine as always.. was saying Paytm is making money but won't tell us what diversification they were doing at Paytm..just keep saying generic statements. Keep giving info on other startups, Indonesia and others.
Metrics have not changed, this is the only metric, operational cash generation or surplus operational cash, which has mattered since the first business was started by a human being
I am disappointed with Paytm's customer service. My experience included a lack of response to my ticket and its closure without communication. Additionally, the employee's conduct was unprofessional. I would appreciate a resolution to the issue I raised. junk worst company !!!!!!!
oh come on Sir, even now you are blaming the IPO pricing debacle to Marco and US markets. So many companies have given 10x from those lows. Paytm could not because paytm never made profits till now. Yes, macros can effect short term valuation but agar company me damm ho toh it gets back to its real value sooner or later. You are simply trying to fool people here.
Every organisation needs different skills at different stages of its life. PayTM needs new leader. Vijay must go. He is too much into micro management. Strategy should be followed by organisation structure. He is failing in both cases.
This man is not in Jail coz he scammed people legally ,overinflated the IPO to 200 % sold his share the day lock in was expired .Made billions dumping retail investors. Imagine a company listing its IPO at 2150 Rs / dumping shares the day locking expired and now trading at 950 /- after touching 600 .
sir ji aapka 18300cr mese 10000cr ka toh ofs tha aapne raise kiye sirf 8300cr bechke nikalne walon ke liye aapne overvalue karke nikala 19 billion almost valuation pe aur stock market sabko aukaat dikha deta he zomato paytm nykaa policy bazaar sabke sab aise hi he jo companies profitability pe focus kare woh turnaround ho chuke he like zomato and policy bazaar

Wont talk about overinflated IPO to dump to retailers even at 50% discount
Thanks bro!
Thank you bro ❤❤
Thanks for for your help. 👍
Thank you Abhilash❤
This aged really well. 😢

insights means alot Vijay sir, Thank you Shradha for putting this on UA-cam ❤
Mr. Sharma is the legend, I always admire him. Hopefully in the coming day we will meet him for something that would be going to impact India. :)
They are both legends actually
Nice
Bottom line is, Paytm fooled retail investors by selling them stock at Rs. 2150. Everything else is fluff.
He had obligation to his previous big investors who wanted to recoup their money with returns
Thanks to you, Apne hi kara hai ye sab for future entrepereneurs of India
Thankyou for uploading this episode, I was waiting for this interview of Vijay 🙌
These insights and words from Vijay sir would have saved so many more startups if it'd have come 1 year earlier..
Very Nice...Staying in the Country & Trying to Serve and Better the Country 🙏
And the country is taking revenge on him, typical Indian story.
super inspiring episode by Vijay sir end is too awesome
the man is truely believe in india and himself and his confidence on another level # master sharma
Vijay Sharma says Maning Companies going Bankrupt....never knew he was talking about PayTm
Thanks to yourstory team and Shraddha for bringing Vijay. His words are full of wisdom, coming from years of experience.
Love you Vijay … truly genuine and honest as a person
Brilliant interview! Your Story never disappoints❤
I dont understand why he is saying 1000 crore profits when paytm is still loss making.
Yea, I just checked listening to this, it’s narrowed it losses , but it’s still in loss. Baffled
Baffled too
It makes cash profits and free cash flow. What you may be looking at is balance sheet where ESOP charges are added at very high cost
Very informational and inspirational conversation !!
30:28 What a perception . Always glad to hear from such passionate person . Thank you so much @YourStory .
Legend!!! Vijay Shekhar Sharma, big time fan!
Brilliant interview!! So many insights from Vijay..thanks Shardha for this!
Your video editor needs to increase the Sound volume of the video, its too low according to youtube standards....
I need this guy in Nikhil Kamath podcast.. his magic will only work.
I remember Subash chandra giving such standups..... Hope sharma ji doesnt end up in the same situation
Hey genius, the market is up 22% and Paytm is down by 60.5% … which macro event are you talking about? 9:40
abv figs are since Nov 18,2021.

Vijay & shraddha are inspiring
Same for Pakistan too.
Surviving on Foreign Money.
I am hugely inspired by Vijay sir and just love his presence as well as his charm. An amazing Entrepreneur as well as an amazing personality too.
Wow. Such content is free on youtube.
And once when you start generating enough free cash flow why will one go for an expensive mode of funding? Companies will start using debt to grow like Reliance, Tata, Adani and so on
I believe in you Mr. Sharma. Paytm will become profitable and people will make money from Paytm share
You’re only saying this cause you invested in the IPO 😅
On what basis will they make money
Because of Lose Making Startup, New Idea will not get funding & Old are enjoying, making new loss daily..
Unless n until businesses doesn't focus on profit, rather than running after valuation, businesses won't survive
Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway exits Paytm.🤣This gives hint.
VSS is not admitting that the valuation was so high only to appease his Chinese investors and in the process put money of fellow Indians at stake.
I have literally tears in my eyes, Shraddha after hearing him. I am also in the phase of exploring different problem statements to start my work on. These advices came at the right time. Thank you so much for bringing him on stage.

Mr. Vijay is solely responsible for the Paytm IPO blunder

Why would anyone will pay crazy money for loss making company.

Paytm IPO price 2150 some months later they did buyback 700. Nice work fooling retail players🌚
Chote aadmi ko chota loan chaiye, but paytm ne chota loan ( less than 50k) dena band kardiya or share 20% down. 😑 Kehna kya chahte ho bhai.
right
Bcz under 50k, you don't need to provide any collateral. That's why there is a huge risk to give credit
Sabse zada defaulter 50k mai
