what is this privacy thing between american spouses? my parents were married for nearly 60 years and until my dad died they did everything together and had no secrets from one another. they knew each others passwords and emails and spent all their time together.
American here. I hand my husband my phone when I have a conversation with anyone that is not on our friends list. If male I automatically discuss the conversation with him, and ask him to read what was in text. If a coworker needs my number I give his and explain why I am doing so.
@@candyfleschner3385 same here. im transparent with my wife also and we can read each others texts and when she asks i tell her and show her. its that simple.
When I was married to my children's father, he kept his phone on him at all times. I was not allowed to answer his cellphone at all. He even tried keeping me from answering the landline. Anytime he got a phone call on his cell, he would literally run outside to answer it. I was not stupid, I knew he was having an affair. He was big on me invading his privacy, while he insisted on knowing where I was at all times. I was ok with that, I had nothing to hide. I caught him going through my cellphone so I asked him to let me have his. He threw mine at me. We eventually got divorced. Six years later I got married again. My new husband and I kept no secrets from each other. We knew each other passwords. He could gp through my phone, and I could go through his. He was the best husband ever until the day he passed away.
Shit, im 58, been married for 38 years. My wife and I share the same password on all of our stuff. Hell her 4 digit code for her cell is my last for a d vise-versa. There are still some of us like that out here. Most of us are old vets who have wives that tolerated our time in service and the nightmares we brought home. But we are here.
@@revparisking marriage is partnership, friendship unlike anything else. we know each other's bank account details codes phone locks passwords etc. there is zero privacy. none is required. we are one.
So Anna never said why she planned an affair and then cheated on him right after telling him how much she respected and loved him? And then was so devastated that he found out that she drank herself to death?
Ok he’s a mechanic at first, but he drives a Subaru? Come on, a great mechanic drives something cool like a 52 Hudson Hornet with the dual carburetor set up, or a 54 Kaiser Darin, or a cool Studebaker not a Subaru. Then later he finds a job as a handyman? Must have not been a good mechanic.
Well karma yeah no joke, you're asking 🙄 what becomes when you're choosing lies over the love of a family and clearly devoted husband The sorry, only because you've been caught don't feel awful for her
Wow. Hard, hurtful, and morbid. You kind of wish the kids would have said something. They had to know she was drinking herself to death. Maybe just 1 kind word from him could have given her a couple more years. I know how bad drinking yourself to death looks. Of my 6 older brothers and 3 older sisters, 4 died from either/or, or a combination of both, drugs and alcohol. Between one of my older sisters and i, we each had to give permission to turn off the machines for each one of our brothers. I dont know if i should say i was the lucky one as my 2nd oldest brother was already brain dead when i had to decide to turn the machines off. My older sister had the rough one as my 3rd oldest brother was still cognizant. It was just his entire body was shutting down rapidly and with a confirmation of a single eye blink, my brother agreed with my sister to shut the machine off. She literally watch his like leave his eyes. I know its just a story and you know you wrote a good one when you bring out emotions in your listeners. This one sure did that. Again, you kind of with one of the kids would have stepped in and told the father. Even though it was just a story. Bottom line, great story. You did what every writer sets out to do and that is allow your listeners to become submerged in the emotions you put out there. Grest job.
"i trust her completely". Famous last words.
The moment he mentions he remained a mechanic and his wife finished her degree I knew where this story was going

Ok, this version makes more sense. He wasn't travelling with "Anna" but with her urn.
So Anna never said why she planned an affair and then cheated on him right after telling him how much she respected and loved him? And then was so devastated that he found out that she drank herself to death?

How smart do you have to be when you find morning after pills when you have had a vasectomy, I guess car mechanics aren’t very bright after all.

Sad ending.
