Thanks, man! We shoot all of the "show" stuff on a Panasonic HVX200 and then everything else (more cinematic stuff) on a Canon 60D. We did use a slider for that last shot. I love stuff like that. There's a playlist on our channel of some of our films (trailers that we made for Gamervision and stuff). Also, some films that I made with Josh in Film School are on my site, HeyNickMurphy.
No, thank you, man. That's a great comment. This is exactly the feeling that we're going for with our show. I also think it's part of the issue that some people have when they first watch our show. It's not a review show. We're talking about (and 'reviewing') our experience, not the game. -Nick
Has anyone else out there played captain skyhawk so much, that they made a whole meta plot out of it? Mine was always like... captain skyhawk has a day to save the earth, and the guy in the fast plane was his brother, he wants to help destroy the earth. Captain skyhawk's brother Merv... cause Merv Skyhawk is a dick.
Used to rent this game alot when it first came out, I was around 5 so it was so intense for me. I never beat it but got rather far but used to play this, Jackel, RC Pro AM, Rygar, and Wolverine so much. I always had my friends who had the more well known games so I always played or rented the more gems of the NES
Thanks man. We all do video production work for a living. We edit with Final Cut Pro 7 and we shoot the show with a Panasonic HVX200a and all of the "extra stuff" we shoot with a Canon 60D. -Nick Murphy
Yeah we change it up. Sometimes we just have some NES games to get through. This year we've only played like 4 NES games. Stay patient. We try and rotate it.
This show is turning into something else, something more, and I just love it. Just love these offshow parts, like the special with JonTron, PBG, The Completionist and Underbelly.
I think because of the simple format of the show I sometimes forget you guys are legit filmmakers. I loved the ending guys, you should make more cinematic style videos. :)
I must've missed the announcement that you were moving from gamervision! I'm so glad you guys are still... continuing!!! And Josh certainly does fit the show well. Guess I've got some vidyas to watch. Love you guys!
I love this game, one of my most favorites of my collection since i was a kid...really great game...kinda wish you guys showed off some of the awesome music in that game
This was one of my favorite games as a kid. It always pissed me off how hard to it was align yourself with the rotating entry of the space ship after every level.
Damn, Captain Skyhawk looks pretty awesome. Great video as always guys. Also, am I the only who thought Josh's hallucination was hotter then the original hallucination/Cylon from the show they were riffing on?
actually I think it is closer to a barrel roll than an aileron roll, in an aileron roll you stay on the same vector as your plane rotates (like in star fox), in a barrel roll you move along a helix
Oh man, well done on the end of this episode. That was great. I especially like when Nick looked into his phone at the end. Please tell me you guys are going to follow up on that!
Hahaha.....that episode was such good times. I liked how you referenced the NOID in it, as well as the Noid Genesis game which you guys reviewed 2 weeks ago.
I haven't had a chance to look through all your videos, but you guys should try mischief makers for the N64. The game is a pretty good platformer, you're a robot, and all the worlds have faces. ON EVERYTHING!
I used to play tthis game at my uncle's house. I loved it but never knew much about it and actuallty forgot avout it for the longist time, and, I'm pretty sure this game is why I love Star Fox.
I love me some Chipocrite. You guys should totally incorporate more modern chip :D I for one, would be totally stoked to write music for you guys BLOOP
None of the "show" is scripted. We get together, decide what game to play, sit down, do an intro, goof around for 20 minutes, and do an outro. It's all off the top of our heads. And then we edit it together. A lot of the "extra" stuff (for example in this episode, the Battlestar Galactica stuff) is scripted. -Nick
I think that ending had me tripping a few balls O_O
The ending was just incredible gentlemen.
I might have posted this before, but it merits posting again. The ending of this episode is very well done. The slow motion shot was perfect.
I like when Nick Murphy make funne scream
Thanks man. We plan to. We'll be doing it for the other two episodes this month and then we have some big, film-y type stuff coming. -Nick
Thanks, man! We shoot all of the "show" stuff on a Panasonic HVX200 and then everything else (more cinematic stuff) on a Canon 60D. We did use a slider for that last shot. I love stuff like that. This episode is incredible
👍🤙🤟🙌😍❤️🥰😘🤩
Way to stick the landing guys
Said it before but DAMN I love you guys' cinematic stuff :D
This is by far my most favorite episode EVER.
I ALWAYS come up with meta plots for games

That literally had me in tears. God I love this show
Seriously, these always make my week, and the little ending skits you guys have been doing are great. Good stuff, guys. Good stuff.
Dope ending.
Thanks man. We all do video production work for a living. We edit with Final Cut Pro 7 and we shoot the show with a Panasonic HVX200a and all of the "extra stuff" we shoot with a Canon 60D. -Nick Murphy
Well, you nailed how all UA-cam webshow makers are. Except you guys, you're pretty cool because you actually reply to stuff.
This is actually word for word what's on the welcome sign when you enter PA.
Josh
Oh My Goooooooooooooood!! Fantastic episode. That ending came out of left field, but it intrigues me. So... many questions. SO MANY QUESTIONS!!!!!
Haha, that ending was awesome!! xD
Yeah we change it up. Sometimes we just have some NES games to get through. This year we've only played like 4 NES games. Stay patient. We try and rotate it.
Nice! We're glad that you found us again. Welcome back! -Nick
They are still up. There's a playlist on our channel with all of them. -Nick
This show is turning into something else, something more, and I just love it. Just love these offshow parts, like the special with JonTron, PBG, The Completionist and Underbelly.
Just actually wow! That last scene was AMAZING!
I fucking love that you put the little controller there on the corner of the caption depending on the system, most genius little detail ever.
Really like that ending. Pretty cool how you're changing it up and kinda going along the theme of sci-fi with this additional content. Keep it up.
i LOVE the new themed month intro. its exactly the same as fantasy month's but completely different in every way
Oh my. That ending. You guys are really stepping up your game in every way. Always a treat every Wednesday.
No in the credits the "stars" were Josh, Nick, Paul, and Sara Parker. Rebecca Murphy was a camerawoman.
Oh god! You awakened one of my childhood addictions!! D:
This game was one of my child hood favorites, thanks for bringing back such a great memory for me guys. I look forward to more old school reviews! lol
Whoever filmed, directed and thought of that last segment, you're a god. It was fucking beautiful.
I love how you do the show, and you always throw in these awesome skits. I'd have subbed for either alone.
I think because of the simple format of the show I sometimes forget you guys are legit filmmakers. I loved the ending guys, you should make more cinematic style videos. :)
I agree with Josh, Paul Ritchey is beautiful.
I must've missed the announcement that you were moving from gamervision! I'm so glad you guys are still... continuing!!! And Josh certainly does fit the show well. Guess I've got some vidyas to watch. Love you guys!
I've gotten my game-savvy friends to start watching this show. We love it, keep it up guys!
I loved Captain Skyhawk as a kid! Thanks for covering it!
for someone who has a short attention span. I can proudly say ive seen all of your episodes. that is all
Pretty good eye. It's actually the Panasonic HVX200. That's what we shoot the show on. -Nick Murphy
Oh wow haha, that was one of the best episodes yet if only for the ending! Mad props guys and keep the good stuff coming!
Just throwing this out there guys. THIS was the very first game that I ever beat. I was six years old. I felt like such a fucking bad ass.
Cobra Triangle is the "boat game".
Imagine playing Cobra Triangle while listening to the theme from Riptide.
Great show dudes, I love when you throw something cinematic in, Josh's acting is lols!
A new continue! I'm so happy!
You guys keep getting better and better! Hats off to you!
Paul the game is called Cobra triangle for the NES.
i bought the game today thanks to you guys :)
That's probably the best ending to any video I've ever seen on youtube.
I love this game, one of my most favorites of my collection since i was a kid...really great game...kinda wish you guys showed off some of the awesome music in that game
That ending was legendary, you guys are the best!!!
the way paul says graphics makes me laugh every time.
This was one of my favorite games as a kid. It always pissed me off how hard to it was align yourself with the rotating entry of the space ship after every level.
Oh shit, another great episode showcasing a great game from my childhood.
Thank you for the Battlestar Galactica ending. It certainly made my day.
I just came because of Jon Tron, and I don't regret it, keep it up guys you have 1 more subscriber here
Captain Skyhawk was awesome. Great review!
Still one of the best episode end gags.
1:40 That game is Cobra Triangle. I played it a ton too, still have my original cart!
Damn, Captain Skyhawk looks pretty awesome. Great video as always guys. Also, am I the only who thought Josh's hallucination was hotter then the original hallucination/Cylon from the show they were riffing on?
why is this show so awesome?!
It's not a real dogfight until someone hurls flaming acorns at you
actually I think it is closer to a barrel roll than an aileron roll, in an aileron roll you stay on the same vector as your plane rotates (like in star fox), in a barrel roll you move along a helix
We do! It's a great program.
Holy amazing conclusion scenes, Batman! That was awesome!
Man that ending was fantastic!
Nice work
I LOVE THIS SHOW
Any of the 'extra' stuff, we shoot on a Canon 60D.
I love you Nick Murphy. I really do
i totally heard part of Ghost Love Score by nightwish when he pounded all five targets on a strafe run.
Oh man, well done on the end of this episode. That was great. I especially like when Nick looked into his phone at the end. Please tell me you guys are going to follow up on that!
one of my favorite games as a kid!

Everytime I hear "That's fucked up Josh." I laugh, It's so well acted.
man, hearing that bsg music just makes me want to watch the whole series again from the start
I used to play tthis game at my uncle's house. I loved it but never knew much about it and actuallty forgot avout it for the longist time, and, I'm pretty sure this game is why I love Star Fox.
Lol great show gentlemen looking forward to the next one!!
I love me some Chipocrite. You guys should totally incorporate more modern chip :D I for one, would be totally stoked to write music for you guys BLOOP
A really good idea for Sci-Fi month would be either Mutant League Football or Mutant League Hockey. (Football's cheaper and hey....mutants)
The end was very funny keep on the good work:)
That ending.. I want so much more of that.
Josh is clearly the wild-card of the group.
If anyone is going to cut the brakes of a van containing barrels of petrol, it'll be Josh.
@SouthSeaWolfman We're taking it back, man! - Paul
Breakfast Town!? Well that puts a whole new spin on the term "Continental Breakfast".
Battlestar Galactica ending?
...I loved it
And to think that when you guys wrapped it up I was about to turn it off...
Then you hit me with that ending. Fucking. Genius.
man! that ending was like... is this Josh's afterlife or something? and then i saw the last part and i lol'd!
great episode guys, i'd continue too :)
That was an EPIC episode! Great job guys!
Amazing episode. And I guess that explains why Josh is allways staring towards Paul longingly. :D
8:30
"I wanted to make a Pearl Harbor joke, but I won't."
"Do it, dude."
"Yeah, it's fine."
"Okay... PEARL HARBOR TIME!!!"
