1. Hyundai projector headlight works both as headlight and foglight(as per Hyundai salesperson) 2. Rear wiper is not needed in i10. Very good IRVM visibility with just defogger(observed during heavy rain in test drive) 3. Extremly low to no cabin noise. I even didnt feel the engine shut off sometimes unless the displays turned off. But in Tata there's sound like a plane is passing by. 4. Music system on tiago is better due to JBL speakers and tweeters. Cant compare to i10 as i has average music system. 5. Steering is way too smooth in Tiago, makes it uncomfortable. i10 has firm yet smooth steering 6. Similarly pedals are way too smooth in Tiago. Brake pedal pressing length is high and it doesnt brake unless you go half way down. i10 brake pedal length is half and starts braking as soon as you press an inch. 7. ORVM on Tiago is automatic. i10 has a button which closes and opens with one press. 8. Child safety lock is available in Tiago, but not available in i10. Both cars have door window lock in driver seat. 9. ISOLOCK present in Tiago, absent in i10 10. Seats on Tiago are more comfortable with proper thigh support and back support. i10 seats start hurting with 15 mins drive. That's why they provide pillow, headrest and lumbar support as accessories. 11. Rear seat headrest is adjustable in i10, but fixed in Tiago. 12. i10 has boot space lamp, which is absent in Tiago 13. Cooled glovebox in Tiago. Absent in i10, but has minimal cooling from the air blowing from AC inside the car. 14. Tablet compartment in Tiago Glovebox. In i10 theres a small space above the glovebox 15. AC is even noisy in Tiago. i10 AC is too powerful and silent. Has rear AC vents as advantage. Only i10 has this in this segment. 16. Rear seat leg space is comfortable and enough in both cars. i10 has extra and more comfy legroom. 17. The Engine is extremely refined and tested 4 cylinder in i10 with no vibration at all in the cabin, but little refined 3 cylinder in Tiago BS6 phase 2. Noise is still evident, but far less than older versions. 18. 3 people can comfortably sit in rear seat of i10. The hump in middle seat is very less, hardly 1 inch, whereas its higher in Tiago, making it a bit uncomfortable. 19. Wheel doesnt fully return after rotating in i10. Feels confusing for new drivers. in Tiago it comes freely o initial position with just some 20 degree mismatch so that car doesnt go sideways at any cost. 20. Safety wise Tiago feels stronger when you close doors. A clear thud sound of Tata metal. i10 is clearly lower metal quality. But it always depends on how the car imparts collision force to car or the people. 21. Tiago has only 2 airbags, i10 has 6 airbags. 22. i10 has a dull blue light in foot well making it easier to find pedals in case you miss. Tiago doesn't have this, but can be retrofitted. Company provides one such light for 5k Most of the remaining features are available on both cars.😅
Comparison is between apples and oranges. Should have compared Tiago Top End with i10 Nios Top End, where rear wiper, alloy wheels, etc available in Nios Asta. Increased price for each model is proportional to demand, which comes from overall satisfaction. Infotainment Cluster appearence is much superior in Nios compared to Tiago. Also Nios have fast charger and wireless charger in top variant, may be available in some lower variants as well. Cruise control in Nios is a plus in this segment. Leg room at rear seat is very important for a 1.2 L vehicle, Tiago needs better leg rooms at rear. Milage is the most important factor, where there is no comparison with Nios. I am not criticizing our Indian car, but they should improve quality to compete with all the cars in segment and capture the internal and external market.
Google rust issue with any car name. Almost all cars will have the issue. I just google i10 rust issue and found people with complaints of rust. It's from the people who don't maintain their cars. Every car is succeptible to rust if the protective coating goes on any part. especially underside where no extra coating is done. Also, if you are in a costal salty climate, the vehicles are prone to rust faster compared to non coastal climates. You also mentioned that you just checked both cars and probably heard of rust issue and went for nios. Please don't give conclusions without testing yourself.
@@theghostrider430Wrong. Tata uses poor quality steel. I own a Tata Altroz. Just after 7 months I noticed rusting in different areas. Previously I owned a Hyundai i10 from 2011. I used it for 12 years and never faced such issue. Accept the fact.
Will most probably go for i10, as I am going to buy for my mom, and wife. It is going to be 90% city drive, and this will be my second car. I already have Blaeno for the highways..
Finally decent for Tiago XZ+ . A complete car in all way

Well explained 👌
Tiago should improve to 4 cylinderical engine, LED Headlight beam and the wheels & tyre sizes upto 15th or 16th inches.
