92 FOV is ideal, I posted about it during the first day of the beta, keep in mind that FPS matters, someone running the game on 60FPS would need a different FOV or walk back a little bit. A couple side notes: -87 (normal FOV) you need to take 2 steps forward -103 (Shadowborn FOV) you need to take 2 steps backward -You can see the aura change on the generator midgame if you switch the FOV numbers around which is kinda funny - There are 2 holes on Eyrie that allow you to orbital the generator in main building from different angels
I agree 92 FOV is the best. You can hit people on the side of the Gen you can’t see if you take a step forward as well! I didn’t know the fps thing though. I play on 120
In a completely unexpected turn of events, Behavior has actually allowed killers to emulate the playstyle that Jonah Vasquez used in his lore. This is a massive step forward for integrating story into gameplay and drone striking more civilians.
It’s simple people who use shadowborn were wondering why they couldn’t hit orbitals like me. And I noticed that I had to take a few steps back to land them. So you can just think if you have to walk forward at 87 FOV and back at 103 than meeting in the middle is ideal. I tried telling people but I’m to small of a channel😭

It will work for the left and right sides of the gen if you're looking straight at it. So if you're looking at the long side you can hit the two short sides with this trick without needing to move: o[gen]o (o=survivors) To hit the long sides in that scenario you would need to move forward/backward depending on which side the survivor is on. For diagonals it's different
theres a lot of different ways to do huntress orbitals now. I use 3 different ways in terms of lining up my shot. First is obviously the gen wires render distance. Second is lining the O and W from Throw Hatchet on exactly the gen and then do 2 steps back (press S 2 times) and its a down. The last way is having the tip of your hatchet when charging actually on a certain point of a gen (hardest one but difficult to explain, its what dbd things do)
Crazy and fun tech man. This is why i tend more towards killer even if u dont have the ultimate win its still fun while survivor is boring if you lose or win hard. With survivor only an equal matchup is fun.

I have respect for those amazing nurses wesker and blights who can do the wild techs their killers have ...but I truly fear the huntresses there is just something about having to fear the sky as well as every direction.
Is it the FOV or the LOD/Draw Distance settings? Because I'm pretty sure someone with Potato Mode thanks to an older system won't have the same LOD threshold even at the same FOV. Time to experiment...
So, when are they gonna put invincibility frames on survivors on Huntress' hatchets like how if you are too fast at damaging with Plague's power survivors have invincibility frames so they don't get hit by the second attack.
I don't know why BHVR add so many unnecessary collision in game that makes no sense. Twig that can stun Bubba's chainsaw, high tree branches that stop huntress's hatchet, and invisible wall at second floor edge, whY?
I've noticed as Nurse a lot of random objects on maps are really hard to get through too, it prevents you from blinking to the survivor and ruins your momentum.
Because then people will always find a way to abuse those missing collisions, shooting through obstacles, going on rocks that you're not supposed to, we've had many exemples of that
Always was. People just resident sleeper in their tier lists. Top 5 killers are: nurse, blight, huntress, bubba, wesker. 6th is chukie. My tier list hasn't changed over a year. Someday, peep will catch up
I think you're too focused on best case scenarios. Huntress and bubba become useless on maps like lerys, Hawkins, rpd etc. spirit is top 3 bc she doesn't have a bad map, same with the other high tier killers.

I always believed that huntress was S tier. In theory, she can hit survivors from most areas on the map. The only killer that rivals this ability is nurse. Another S tier killer. In reality, Huntress can down survivors, faster than nurse. If you was a computer and hit nearly every shot, Huntress is stronger than Nurse on paper...

If you are really good at predicting survivors movement she can dominate with insane anti loop a Huntress can make Shack look unsafe. pre dropping is always dangerous. She is a fair killer but strong rewarding the player for learning techs and tricks.

I main huntress I win majority of my games there are a few maps that she struggles Eyrie's, Badham, because the school being bad for all killers, indoor beside rpd. you give her Ormond, Cold wind, auto heaven, any Macmillian maps, temple of purgatory, Red forest which is over half the maps in the game she does well. Most killers will lose against a highly cracked swf it is also map dependent at times. Remember the top nurse player lost against the top SWF they got a 2k on which btw is a loss. Huge maps also knowing how to counter her blinks but she is S tier. She has many weakness but is super strong like huntress. Huntress can down survivors faster than nurse and blight they have a fatigue Make the killers base kit huntress wins put these 3 on the same maps do 15 of then you will see who wins more.
huntress is def no S tier even in OLD dbd when 90% of maps were acceptably balanced and allowed for somewhat playable structures.... these days 50/50 if youll be able to use your power more than 10 meters away from someone at all, huntress is feeling the struggle
