Tommy's Trains - Widdrington Station

We head up to Widdrington Station, Northumberland after Tommy's football for a bit of trainspotting. We were disappointed when the freight train we were hoping to see was cancelled but we were treated to a couple of brilliant sightings.
First, two Azumas crossed right in front of us for our best ever Crossover. Then, 3 66 class freight trains went past despite not being on the schedule. Thankfully, we noticed them on Traksy when it was at Morpeth so we had the camera ready.
Towards the end, the weather turned quite quickly and the temperature dropped drastically. Thankfully, we were in the car when the heavens opened ☔
