I am just starting to build the 1/32 Tempest MK11 today. I think this kit is going to be amazing to build. Months of happy modeling ahead. 😄

Tempest 2 is his favourite? Clearly a gentleman of the highest taste and sophistication. Edit, I believe the sea fury to be marginally faster than the tempest but please do correct me if I’m wrong. Someone, please make a video and track down some colour profiles for tempest 5s; NV768 and EJ318. It’ll be worth it. Care for each other out there . Xxx

Now we need someone with the money of Elon Musk or Jeff Bezos to tool up to produce new Bristol Centaurus and Napier Sabre engines...

Throughout the world there are Tempests mk 5 and many 2 inthe process of being restored as well as a Typhoon made up of various parts However it is doubtfully tat any of them will be made airworthy the cost of the motors is just to prohibitive

Interesting comment, given the Tempest II at Sywell is having engine tests prior to it's first flight. Centaurus powered.

A very bold comment. Are you an authority on this?

@MCT954 … is that Sywell Aerodrome in Northamptonshire? I live near there if so and would like to pay a visit.
