Really appreciate this, as a medical student interested in IM, it’s really nice to see deep dives into the details of fellowship training. Unfortunately with medfluencing it’s really hard to find this type of content as they keep things vague to fit a wider audience. They tell us don’t worry you’ll get to that point eventually but people like you really help in making informed decisions!

What exactly does a cardiology fellow do in the cath lab? Do you assist the interventional cardiologists doing the procedures?

Got a standard right and left hear Cath and coronary angiogram - we can usually do them from start to finish. If there are any issues or difficulties with the procedure then the attending can help or take over.
