She definitely substituted the “free ride” for a “free high” line. I bet that was the original line but the record company forced them to change it. It’s like the Third Eye Blind song Semi-Charmed Life. The original chorus was “I want nothing else”. It totally changes the context of the song.
Thats the thing when they go inyo the studio and recorded the song with second nad third voice sounds amazing, but when singing live and they dont put it to help their voice,,, no good.
