In Plain Listen, Jeanette Andrews Full Performance

On March 9, 2023 Mitchell Center Visiting Artist and technically trained magician Jeanette Andrews debuted "In Plain Listen," at the Allen Media Center in the Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture at the University of Houston.
“In Plain Listen,” a new piece commissioned by The Mitchell Center, translates the secret for one of the first magic effects in written history into a Morse code based musical notation system. Jeanette performed this trick in front of an intimate audience as a cellist Issea Herr played the score.
