Great stuff Jimmy I’m 69 years old and retired and ready to try a little Carolina rig. I’m strictly finesse but got a finesse Tokyo rig I use, works great, I’m going to try your idea next time out. 3 rods! I'd have to be on medication 😂. I can't believe you didn't say 4 rods #4 being a jig. Or maybe a 3/4oz jig instead of a weight on your c-rig. Lots of cool pointers in your video.

@@JimmyWashamFishingto simplify my madness it's basically 3 of everything 1 xl size 1 regular and 1 finesse. Ex: a mop jig with a brushhog, a reg jig and 4in craw trailer and a 1/4 oz finesse jig . Same with swim bait, crank , worm, etc😂

A good idea is go do ure day like ya know how beat the bank or whatever u do,then have something picked,and go ther and idel it for an hour or so before u go home,that way makes it easier ta still wanna do it because ure getting ta go and still catch sum fish,and the learning at the same time.remember 90% of the fish are in 10% of the water

@@johnkommer2842 Thank you so much for your replies. This is exactly how I've been approaching it lately. I spend about half my time power fishing the bank, and then the other half graphing and throwing at some ledge fish. I'm still picking up a few shallow every time so that keeps me going. I'm learning the trick to the ledges is being patient until you can get them to fire up. It's something I'm not used to, I've always tried to run and gun so sitting on a ledge for a while is tough haha.
@kevinfair929 well there's one that didn't show up,u can use lakemaster but if u get a atlantic mapping co.paper map I can show u easier.that way I can speed up the process considerably.
Catch some big largemouth, 2.5" crappie jig and 4 lb test line. Don't bass fish much anymore. But though to beat a big spinner bait fishing deep. Always pulls out some big fish on the ledges. Did 40+ years ago, still does the job today.
Yes sir, a big spinnerbait is a great way to get a big bite!
