So, I recently graduated from United States Air Force basic training, and on my last Sunday there, I went to church ready to worship. The stage looked really different and we were all confused, the Chaplain came out and said "We have special guests today, please make a lot of noise for them" and Hillsong United walks out on stage and played a worship concert for us. All I can say is thank you guys for stopping by Lackland AFB and bringing the praise to us. That was an incredible time and it blessed me and my brothers and sisters who needed to be lifted up. I will never ever forget that moment.

My dad heard this song a few weeks before my moms passing, he wanted to share it with her but once he got the chance, it was too late. Her Aorta ruptured in the middle of the night and she was gone when we found her. She was a woman of the Lord. Fully blind since 10 months old and yet she still amazed me day by day. This song is her song. She is now seeing everything unimaginable to us. Shes up there rejoicing. This was played at her celebration of life and i still cry everytime i hear it. please, keep your loved ones close, you dont know when the last time will be with them.

I returned from Florida to Chicago O'Hare Airport this past Tuesday, June 6th and I was on my way to pick up my bags and I saw young people picking up their bags and musical instrument and what a surprise....Hillsong United is in Chicago for a conference!!! So I said 'hello' to them and thanked them for ministering my heart with their songs of praise and worship for our Lord Jesus Christ. After blessing them I said good bye but I forgot to tell them that I will be joining them in heaven, as I'm planning to apply for the Celestial Choirs and I'm sure Jesus will allow me to sing along with Hillsong United when I get to heaven!! What a blessing!!!

I'm glad to be walking in the light and seeing the wonderful world as God created it, but there's so many people out there who are still blind and who need prayer for their eyes to be opened to the wonder of our God. We've all been called to go forth into the world to declare the Gospel and the Good News and also to intercede for those who are blind to the world! Let's get up and do our bit in bringing people to Jesus Christ our God, Lord, King and Saviour 💜 ALL people of the Earth need to see His Wonder and His Grace! Don't despise them for not believing, but pray for them and sow seeds in their lives for other disciples to water. This is my prayer for us all, be blessed!

I honestly don't see how I will be able to worship the Lord with this song. I miss the old music of Hillsong United. All I Need Is You will always be one of my favorites.
Kathy J Do you not see Jesus as a wonder? Jesus came, suffered and gave his life to save us. His love is the ultimate wonder. Although we had sin, He still saw the world and decided that there was reason to come down and save it. He showed us the way. He is the way. And our ultimate goal is to love and worship Jesus as best as we can. What better way than to live life like Jesus? Seeing the world the way that He saw it? Trying to reflect that love that He gave us?
I understand that this song is not one that directly says "God is holy" but in the Bible, the songs written by David don't all directly say it either. Some songs are meant as affirmation. Singing "i see the world in Jesus way" is saying amen to the purpose God gives in your life.
Live like Jesus and be courageous to see and love the way He did and does.
Daniel, I see what you are saying. However, to me, worship music is supposed to set the atmosphere for God's presence. This song unfortunately doesn't do it for me.
I think every song has a place, and not every song is the same. Before i first heard this song, i felt like Jesus was trying to tell me to focus on being more like Him. Seeing the world as He does and most importantly, loving like He does. Then when this song released, it was like confirmation for me (just want to point out that i had no idea Hillsong would release new music any time soon, so i wasn't expecting)
If we strive to live like Jesus, i think thats the ultimate form of worship, above music and song (not saying these things aren't important. I'm the youth music leader at my church, so I'm all about the music)
So maybe when the song's writers wrote this song, they wanted it to encourage others to see things as Jesus sees them. In a way, it's a form of serving those that need that encouragement.
So what i think I'm getting at is that maybe this song serves a different purpose than what you wanted to attain from it. I guess it could be similar to how preachings/sermons reach every individual differently. Some people may need a song that will let them sing to Christ "yes Jesus, i see things your way. I see the wonder that is You" while others may be seeking something different
Didn't mean to ramble, just sharing my viewpoint. Whatever the case is (with this song and everything i wrote, because I'm not saying any of these things as facts or with authority haha I'm just a normal person), Jesus will guide us in the right directions!
