      Power factor is not typically considered when calculating the current for a single-phase load in designing a Miniature Circuit Breaker (MCB) for several reasons:
      Simplification: MCBs are primarily designed to protect against overcurrents and short circuits. Considering power factor would add complexity to the design calculations without significant benefits for single-phase loads.
      Unity Power Factor: Many single-phase loads, such as resistive heaters and lighting, have a power factor close to 1 (unity power factor). In these cases, the apparent power (VA) is approximately equal to the real power (Watts). Therefore, using the current based on the real power simplifies calculations.
      Limited Impact: For most residential and small commercial applications, the impact of power factor on the current is not significant enough to warrant special consideration when selecting an MCB.
      Focus on Overcurrent Protection: MCBs are primarily intended to protect against excessive current that can lead to overheating and fires. Their main purpose is to disconnect the circuit when the current exceeds a safe threshold, regardless of the power factor.
      However, in industrial or commercial settings where power factor correction is important, and where non-linear loads like motors and electronic equipment are common, power factor may play a role in electrical system design and protection. In such cases, other protective devices or specialized equipment might be used to address power factor issues.

    If we use 6AMP MCB and as per your calculations load current is 4.5AMP . Now if current flow through load is 5.5 amp. Then equipment may damaged and MCB will not trip ...is it correct?

    Sir agar kitchen mai fridge hoga, induction cooktop hoga.,rice cooker hoga aur 2 led bulb aur eak wall fan hoga to kitchen ke leye kon si ampere ki mcb lagani hogi aur wire kon si lagani hogi.....bathroom mai agr geyser hoga..washing machine hogi aur eak led bulb hoga to kon si ampere ki mcb lagani hogi aur kon si mm ki lagani hogi.. Aur sir 3 rooms mai agr 2...2...bulbs eak wall fan aur eak socket hoga jis mai winter ko blower lagana hai. To in 3 rooms ke leye kon si mcb lagani hai..aur wire kon si mm ki lagani hai.. To sir is poore load ke hisaab se main double pole mcb aur rccb kitni ampere ka lagana hoga.. Aur sir is load ke hisaab se service line kitni mm ki hogi aur double pole mcb se rccb tk aur rccb se single pole mcb tk kitni mm ki wire hogi.. Is load ke hisaab se kit kat fuse kitni ampere ka hoga aur changeover kon sa lagana hai.. Sir app ka ki bhtt meherbani hogi mje is comment ka answer dedo.. We have 220 voltage..my question is which type of mcb and rccb in ampere according to this load plzzzz sir it will be your most kindness if you give a answer honestly...
