So I’m guessing that this channel wasn’t quite what you’d hoped? Shame, really. I enjoyed this. Scott

It was more a question of focus, and I decided it was best to put my energies into the Patreon/member channel, rather than here. I think there's still scope for this channel, but it's way down the list of priorities. 👍

@@10MinuteWorkshop Totally understand. My interest and experience is with power tools made by Shopsmith, which means unless my channel branches-out it's destined to be a small, niche channel. If it weren't for channel members coming to the rescue I wouldn't be able to justify the effort, except that it scratches an pretty strong itch. I really appreciate your style and wish I had the time to attain even a fraction of your videography skills. Your videos are very satisfying to watch, even if the topic is rudimentary. Also, your 2 part interview was excellent inside baseball! Thanks for sharing it. Scott

Nice one, Peter. Always good to be reminded of how dangerous power tools can be, especially table saws.

All edge tools have the potential to harm us, but the table saw is probably the least forgiving, of the more widely used machines. The prospect of going through 50 years of one's working life without one momentary lapse is unrealistic. What is a reality is "Sawstop" technology, Sadly thus far expensive and far from ubiquitous. I'd like to think something of that ilk could be an fordable requirement before too long. Thanks for posting.

Interesting video. Thanks for sharing. I was just thinking about you today, when I saw pictures on the internet with Venice at low-tide. No water in the canals.
The dam which should have been finished already some years ago, apparently hasn't been finished yet due to corruption if I may believe some newspaper.
By the way, The name of this YT channel is "A maker's Eye" (because you are a maker). But before you were a photographer, if I remember well.
And photographers have "special" eyes as well. I had photography as a hobby already 40 years ago, long before was becoming a wannabee maker.
I regard my eyes still as photographer's eyes although the last few years I spend more time trying to make things than making pictures.
