I received my bottle on yesterday 🥰🍓. You are spot on per usual. 🎯☺️ I sprayed it in for bed last night and it lasted on my nightgown and my décolletage all night. ❤ I’m going to let it macerate two weeks just to see what else it’s going to give. Okay, mine arrived, and it was powerful straight away, ready to wear. This does smell good. It's not my genre DNA, but I do like it. I want to see what it does after it matures a bit. The opening is sweeter, fruity, I get florals into the mid, and its "Pink Sugery" type dry-down was a bit disappointing 😞 I don't mind that DNA, I just don't need anymore of it in my collection. It already has good performance. 😃 I'm not sorry I purchased at all. I already have a young lady in the house who has her eye on it 😂

I love the Yara Candy. It reminds me of OG Prada candy and Prada candy night. I layered it today with fireplace and it took it to another level. It last about 6 hours but longer on my clothing. I got a lot of compliments also and I’ve been wearing it all week with different body sprays each day.

I hope it's not like Pink Sugar because I bought it and took it back I didn't like it because it smelled too sweet if you understand what I mean. I put it in my cart and i will see if my local Arabian perfume shop has it so it can test it out.
One fragrance I have that smells so candy/sweet like is, Maison Alhambra Renya. It's soooo sweet and fruity. I did not expect it, but I adore it. To me, it smells like those creme life saver hard candies from the 90s, but a high-end, concentrated, perfume version. It's seriously so girly, yummy, and youthful ❤

There is no specific amount of time! It is more about just letting it sit because the longer you do the better it will get for sure! That is the case with all ME fragrances and some Western Niche also! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Maceration in perfumery refers to the production stage where fragrance oils are blended with alcohol and water, allowing them to dissolve and fully integrate. This process stabilizes the scent profile before bottling. Once the perfume is bottled, it does not "macerate" further; it simply ages, which allows the components to settle and the scent to refine over time. Using "maceration" to describe aging in the bottle is incorrect, as maceration is complete by the time the perfume is bottled. A more accurate term for this process is "aging" or "settling."
Good morning! Thanks so much for taking the time to provide this explanation! While I am not a trained perfumer when I use the word maceration as it relates to a Middle Eastern fragrance I typically am referring to “maceration” as my understanding is that the reason they can provide perfumes at such a reasonable price is because the maceration process is really not complete prior to releasing to the consumer! We, as the consumer, understand this and allow time for maceration in the bottle and in our homes. And, of course, like in all other fragrances we may receive, allowing time for a fragrance to settle and go through the “maturation” process is key! I wish I could have a sit down interview with a large reputable fragrance house such as Lattafa, Paris Corner, etc….. so I could get a more detailed understanding of what they do and don’t do while still offering us so many gems! 😂🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️🥰❤️❤️❤️

The definition and technique of maceration is no secret, however in the youtube, tiktok and reel world of reviews, many uneducated reviewers are using the word maceration incorrectly. Middle Eastern fragrances are no different than European fragrance houses when it comes to the technique of maceration. Every bottle of perfume in the word is already macerated before being bottled. Perfumes do not marcerate whie in the bottle or after time. That is aging. Reviewers need to stop over using the word maceration when it comes to bottled fragrances. Imagine buying whiskey or tequila, they have already been aged in the barrel, they do not age in a barrel while in a bottle. Hope that helps. Spread the word!

I love the Yara Candy. It reminds me of OG Prada candy and Prada candy night. I layered it today with fireplace and it took it to another level. It last about 6 hours but longer on my clothing. I got a lot of compliments also and I’ve been wearing it all week with different body sprays each day.

One fragrance I have that smells so candy/sweet like is, Maison Alhambra Renya. It's soooo sweet and fruity. I did not expect it, but I adore it. To me, it smells like those creme life saver hard candies from the 90s, but a high-end, concentrated, perfume version. It's seriously so girly, yummy, and youthful ❤

There is no specific amount of time! It is more about just letting it sit because the longer you do the better it will get for sure! That is the case with all ME fragrances and some Western Niche also! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Maceration in perfumery refers to the production stage where fragrance oils are blended with alcohol and water, allowing them to dissolve and fully integrate. This process stabilizes the scent profile before bottling. Once the perfume is bottled, it does not "macerate" further; it simply ages, which allows the components to settle and the scent to refine over time.
Using "maceration" to describe aging in the bottle is incorrect, as maceration is complete by the time the perfume is bottled. A more accurate term for this process is "aging" or "settling."
Good morning! Thanks so much for taking the time to provide this explanation! While I am not a trained perfumer when I use the word maceration as it relates to a Middle Eastern fragrance I typically am referring to “maceration” as my understanding is that the reason they can provide perfumes at such a reasonable price is because the maceration process is really not complete prior to releasing to the consumer! We, as the consumer, understand this and allow time for maceration in the bottle and in our homes. And, of course, like in all other fragrances we may receive, allowing time for a fragrance to settle and go through the “maturation” process is key! I wish I could have a sit down interview with a large reputable fragrance house such as Lattafa, Paris Corner, etc….. so I could get a more detailed understanding of what they do
and don’t do while still offering us so many gems! 😂🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️🥰❤️❤️❤️

Thank you for your reply, I have to say we all have the internet at our disposal. The definition and technique of maceration is no secret, however in the youtube, tiktok and reel world of reviews, many uneducated reviewers are using the word maceration incorrectly.
Middle Eastern fragrances are no different than European fragrance houses when it comes to the technique of maceration. Every bottle of perfume in the word is already macerated before being bottled.
Perfumes do not marcerate whie in the bottle or after time. That is aging.
Reviewers need to stop over using the word maceration when it comes to bottled fragrances. Imagine buying whiskey or tequila, they have already been aged in the barrel, they do not age in a barrel while in a bottle.
Hope that helps. Spread the word!

Now, specific to Lattafa, in my experience they just tend to get better and better with time!
