Thanks for raising this concern. We have good news: there is NOT a risk you will be banned for using Reindeer powder.
Our support team misinterpreted what looked like cheating. we made a mistake and banned a player who was doing nothing wrong. Unfortunately, mistakes do sometimes happen, as much as we wish to be perfect. We have apologized, are reinstating the player's account, and working directly with them to make things right.
And of course, we are making sure we do not make this mistake again, so everybody can keep using the Reindeer powder to their heart’s content!
This is such a dumb mistake. It doesn’t take that long to apply common sense and know that riding a reindeer around isn’t considered hacking. Just goes to shows how careless and lacking the support team is. At least you guys actually fixed your mistake instead of gaslighting us. :]

@@havisilly Okay, I get that it's a big mistake but the SSO team is still human. And they aren't careless because they ✨fixed ✨the problem! And I'm pretty sure the ban thing is auto for doing something wrong (please fact-check me) so it's normal for it to malfunction. Anyway, I hope I didn't seem rude but the team gets enough hate already.
@@moshistellar The filter and the chat, maybe. But they would have to actually see the player on the reindeer and ban them, this wording is even in their own comment. It was their mistake, not a computer-made one. I know they’re human, but not even a minute of contemplating could have prevented this. The fact that the team just gave it a go-ahead and banned the player’s account is bizarre. They’ve done stuff like this before and it’s clear that they haven’t learned much.
right , but you should’ve understood the situation before it started to become a public statement . the player EXPLAINED the situation and you guys shrugged it off as if it was nothing important till a content creator has to go out of her way to post a video about it .
now i wonder if the play is one out of hundreds of people who has their situation fixed because of its publicity .

This is the problem with hacking in SSO. People have labeled “harmless hacking” as that and normalized hacking in a game that FORBIDS HACKING. Now moderators literally cannot tell who is actually hacking and who is not. It’s ridiculous that people can’t see that, mainly because this game is for KIDS and KIDS will rebel against authority. Remember that.
I sold that powder a year ago just 1 min after getting it cuz I knew that this happend once before! And now second person getting banned for it? Shame on you sso! How I got it you may ask? It is one of the GIFTS YOU GET FOR DRUID TRAINING!!! And its 3 sets of 3 powders to turn a starter into a deer for 15 minutes. She replied to my story when I shared her post that that is how she got those powders. You get 3X white, 3X grey and 3X brown reindeer.
This is such a good point tho! New accounts can get the deers now because of this reward. They should change the reward or something if the deer powder is an issue. Maybe add an actual brown and black helmet to go with the druid set.
I don't normally watch Sharky's videos, but this one definitely seems important. If SSO moderators are so incompetent that they can't tell what's a normal part of the game and what's hacking, I'm honestly disappointed. Thanks for this video- I was using the reindeer potions a lot during Christmas, so I guess I'll not be bothering with them anymore.

Bro this is insane. ANY of us could have felt like using our saved up 3 year old reindeer powders on our horses at any random given time. And NEW PLAYERS could have gotten banned for using the 9x REINDEER POWDER REWARDS THEY GET FROM THE DRUID TRAINING! ANY of us could have received this ban. This player truly took one for the team by randomly deciding out of nowhere to use it with her friend. She's a true top G. A true Chad. We should be thanking her. Thank you lilytiel_and_sparrows for putting up with this for us and for making your posts. You are so strong for being able to fight for your account back!
She has the right to sue Star Stable. This girl has spent real life money on their game,and for them to refuse to unban her for a bug that THEY can’t fix from THEIR game, she has every right to sue them. Sso is only money hungry and don’t care about their players at all. They have been refusing to fix bugs and glitches in the game for the past 2 years now ever since they started focusing on releasing new horses every month and not caring about what their players want, and bugs and glitches like these who actually ban people. I swear if this girl doesn’t get her account back, and sso doesn’t fix this bug as well as all of the other ones, we should just boycott them. Not give them any money at all and see if they will actually listen to their community and fix all that is needed to be fixed.
I'm going to play it safe and sell these things off even though I have retro potions from YEARS ago. A shame that I don't even feel safe keeping vintage/discontinued items because SSO's devs are incompetent.
Don't sell! SSO stated they made an error and would reinstated that account. They said to use the potions.

crazy, a few days ago i saw that reindeer powder from a few years ago in my stable inventory and thought about using it💀 guess not
The fact that Star Stable would ban a player that did absolutely nothing wrong- And then ignore actual hackers and cheaters is beyond me. On my server, there was one player that was obviously speed cheating at champs, we managed to get proof her cheating on video and sent it to Star Stable, at least thirty people on my server reported her. And you know what SSO did? They chat banned her for a week.
YES, THIS! SSO, get your priorities straight!! I also reported a hacker, and she is STILL cheating on multiple servers. And this is with proof. Now we know that SSO are fully capable of perma banning hackers, and they just choose not apparently
@@LilDesertPony Same situation for a few servers I'm on. At least three people are hackers (one got like a 2 second score for a Bobcat race) and they always get away with it ;-;
I've been using these in champs on Merengue Cloud, for funsies. They're not even out of the game, you can get them from doing the druid dailies, which I've been doing for the runerunner horse. They're literally still giving these out in the game!

The is actually unreal to me considering the amount of actual cheating going on. The day before the lippy’s released someone actually gave themselves the unreleased horse (bypassing the use of SC mind you) max lvl’d it and max lvl’d themselves (their only other horse was a lvl 1 starter) yet a powder the game itself gave a player, can get them banned.. Unreal
I think this issue is stupid. Even if Star Stable did apologize, it's still their fault for not double-checking.

I know exactly how that player feels, my last account where I almost had every horse in game got banned for one charge back, that I didn't even do, they seriously need to be professional and fix this situation, it's just not right, banning someone for not doing anything but having fun with the stuff they put in the game, I hope they get their account back 🤞

Player from springstar here, yesterday we decided to go on a star coin strike, we want the bugs to be fixed and customer support to be a bit more helpful, I don't really know, just thought I should put it out there that there is a star coin strike going on
Im having so many bugs in my game I cannot even see buildings in Steves farm or silver glade village. I haven't gotten a response from SSO and no one else has this issue when I have asked in the game.
The reindeer potions aren’t completely gone you can still get them in game for free from the soul riding daily quests! I think I got them at around 50,000 or 75,000 points, so yes if you’re a star rider and have unlocked that part of the story quest any player will get access to them if they do these daily quests

This is annoying. I have a bunch of reindeer powders which I've been saving for a while so I'll probably just not use them now- It ain't our fault that they put the magic thingy in game! They can be rather money hungry tbh. If I'm correct, you can obtain these powders from Druid training along with many others. Ugh, hopefully the player will get their account unban.
If you’ve done nothing wrong and get banned you can contact the BBB about them you do not have to just take it.

I am glad that I sold mine when I did. If SSO took them out of the game, they should take it out of the soul riding rewards.
I am annoyed how much of a shitstorm everyone does when SSO makes a small mistake.
The reasons they probably did this is because more and more hackers and cheaters are currently active in this game and they try to prevent them from using hacks and cheats.
Since SSO fixed this with this player together I don’t see any problem at all.
I lost a competition because someone used the speed hack. This isn’t fair.

Okay so, there is a hacker on hazy and she has been harassing people. She has a horse changer (horses that have not even been added to the game) and she has a growing hack and she hasn’t been banned

This is just an idea but those reindeers have the same speed as the old fjords like the really old ones so you can do champs better and the person who banned them may have thought that they had a speed glitch I don't know if this is true I'm just saying what I'm a think because me and my friend did a speed test for the reindeer and the Gen one fjord and they're the same speed so yeah 👍

I literally just got these potions two days ago from druid training. I didn't use them, but WHY are they still being rewarded to us if it's a serious offense!

As far as I'm aware, no. As long as you don't use it on your horse, you are safe. So selling them should be safe too.
