  • Carolina Crown's hornline on tour in Nazareth PA on a hot and steamy day. Just twenty minutes later the ending of sectionals the skies opened up. Crown would win "The 2016 DCI Eastern Classic" later that day. If you like these videos of hornline please

The attacks, tone quality, intonation and dynamics all while doing body movements is so impressive. You've taken playing to a level we never imagined when I marched in the early '70s.

I just love watching him instruct. Have never met him, but he is so enthusiastic how could you not work hard ?

As someone who marched Mellophone in Drum Corps, the urge to jump into the stratosphere at 3:52 would be too much for me to resist haha.

Almost five (5) years after this was posted on Facebook, and I'm lovin me some Crown Brass all the more. I started with It Is, and I'm havng a really hard time NOT returning back to it. My car stereo (factory Bose) goes to 31...and I'm finding I want more! I can shake my inner rear view mirror, as well as my driver and passenger outer mirrors, but I want to rattle mirrors in the 8 cars that surround me at a stop light...lol. Go BRASS, or go home...lol. 5:30 to the end...love the fullness. Damn!...gotta go get some Kleenex now...thanks a lot Crown...lol...;) Just thought of something... If Crowns fit royalty, wouldn't Carolina be "Royal Crown?"

I had put my camera down, just for a minute and I had two or three ants running around on it. I brushed them off, but as you could see I missed one lol. Thank you for checking out my channel And for leaving a comment.

Anybody else rather watch/listen to this than the actual show??? I sure do! Just pure brass sound...no props, recorded narration, distracting guard, etc., etc.,etc!

@Kaamel Mathis Back in the "good old days", you actually got to hear brass and percussion, and see them actually march....the musicians weren't required to dance, vamp for the crowd, or run around...the guard enhanced the show instead of being an end unto itself...there were no giant props to distract you from what was happening in the drill...and you knew that every sound you heard out there was made by the performers, at that moment, not by something that was pre-recorded and synthesized! Am I old and bitter? Sure...just like most people are who loved something that is gone forever...and just like you younger folks will be when drum corps morphs into something unrecognizable sometime in your future! I still love the sound of that brass line though!

Yes. Every time. I wish I could pay for an HD audio recording of just them playing the show book in an arc.
