@@christophergomez9797 Did you make a face at The Degus (author) when you found out he only made it #239? A crime, but "This Boy" should be near the top witih better harmonies than "If I Fell." I rate TB their peak harmony song of all they did! Find me a better one and that also goes for The Beach Boys or The Four Seasons, etc. TB is top notch, and if it wasn't for "She Loves You" it would have been my #1 Beatles song of all time! This should be called "244 Beatles songs in a completely random order, with a large number spelt incorrectly, and many that aren't even the song it says they are"
Lost me at right at the beginning with number 244 - "Ask Me Why". A very good early song with a good melody, lots of jazzy chords and syncopation, great rhythm guitar from Lennon.

So darn hard picking 10 without adding a qualifier “most of their songs are masterpieces” ❤
"Hey Bulldog" is kinda corny, don't you think? I've heard it twice now on Joe Johnson's weekly "Beatle Brunch" weekend radio show. Sounds like something a cartoon producer would add to the audio mix of the cartoon! I don't recall how "Inner Light" goes, but the others (with one exception: "Lucy in the Sky...") also doesn't belong in the Top 100. Maybe #200, but not their Top 100 best overall in music, lyrics, or production values. And whether or not John's denial that it had anything to do with LSD, it does seem very appropriate that it has that association exactly at the time they were experimenting with different drugs, and one of them was LSD, a very dangerous drug to take. James Forrestal, a former, and first Secretary of Defense, threw himself out the window to his death (May 1949), suspiciously while on LSD. Others have had bad 'trips' making them do strange and scary things that also led to their unfortunate deaths or serious injuries.

Great list, but get "she's leavin Home," out of it - soppy, banal tripe. But happiness is a warm gun, I want you, she's so heavy, or I got a feeling, in their instead, for the perrfect top 10
1. There are a lot of spelling mistakes in this video 2. I don't think the songs on the Anthology series should be on a ranking like this 3. I disagree with so much on this list I don't even know where to start. But that's okay as everyone can have his/her own list
yeah this list is garbage; can’t get the titles right, Anthology songs should not be on here, Teddy Boy isn’t a Beatles song, i could go on and on…i quit watching when he put There’s A Place @ 223, that song is brilliant. i know this is all a matter of opinion but this guy’s opinion are suspect at best 👎🏼

@@friendydarkknight5546 With well over 244 to choose from, how anyone settles on just ONE version of their Top 20 is difficult to do! You could have it down the way you think, then look at it again and say, No, this one ranks somewhere else, etc., etc., etc., and never stop adjusting it! LOL One of my all-time favorites is one of the least recognized: George's superb lead version of..."I'm Happy Just to Dance With You" from their magnificent "A Hard Day's Night" album and of course, film. Just a relentlessly joyful, exciting, and upbeat song, it seems impossible for anyone to dislike it, but I'm sure there are millions who dismiss it as just lightweight fluff! I strongly disagree, it is similar to the very exciting "She Loves You" for that song's also relentlessly upbeat and optimistic song. SLY still holds the 1960s record in the UK for the most sales of any song! Obviously, that decade ended after 1969 (or 1970 for some people), but for that song to have the record for most sales in that 10-year period, says something about it that transcends just the 1960s. My pick for the MOST EXCITING SONG in pop music history!!! #2 for me has to be "Heat Wave" by Martha Reeves & The Vandellas (Jul. 1963 release), a strong #4 on the pop chart, #1 R&B!
this is not serious. if i fell is not 239. we all know that. it is a mistake. it is a very good composition, one of the best songs of the soundtrack. this is not well made. somebody only listened to the first one or two bars. everybody over 10 can see, this is a very good beatles song. sorry guys
I can't do a top 10 list because I don't want to choose one single song I like more than others, I love too many of them. My favourites are: "For No One", "Yesterday", "When I'm Sixty-Four", "Nowhere Man", "All My Loving", "While My Guitar Gently Weeps", "For You Blue", "A Day In The Life", "No Reply", "I Want To Hold Your Hand", "I'll Follow The Sun", "Blackbird", "Your Mother Should Know", "I Will", "Lady Madonna". These are some of their songs I love the most, but as I said before they are not in order, I love all of them equally.

Come Toghether 19. Dont Pass Me By 20. Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da Honorable mentions: Taxman, Because, Fool on the hill
It's so interesting how differently people view the songs of the Beatles. On this list, there's a clear trend to rate most of the rock'n'roll and merseybeat songs at the very bottom, while for me, the bottom of the barrel is the "indian"-songs, the psychedelic ones, the "stoner"-tracks and the ultra-hard/screaming ones like Helter Skelter.
This was not easy. 1. Yesterday 2. While My Guitar Gently Weeps 3. A Day in the Life 4. Let it Be 5. Something 6. Penny Lane 7. Strawberry Fields Forever 8. In My Life 9. Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds 10. For No One
"For No One" is a gorgeous song! So many they did, in so many genres or types. But so is "In My Life" so difficult to hear now with the mentioning of so many no longer alive, as are John and George. "This Boy" and "If I Fell" have incredible harmonies. I'm surprised so few picked "She Loves You" for anywhere in the Top 10 or even Top 20! Happiest song they did; 2nd is "I"m Happy Just to Dance with You" (George).

My top 10, today,
10- Let it be
9- I’ll follow the Sun
8- Across the universe
7- Strawberry fields forever
6- In my life
5- Within you without you
4- Because
3- Lucy in the sky w diamonds
2- Inner light
1- Tomorrow never knows
Yesterday, shows up sometimes on my list, as do ticket to ride, hey bulldog, blackbird, all my loving, for no one, for you blue…
Now I feel like I’m just listing all the ones I can think of! So darn hard picking 10 without adding a qualifier “most of their songs are masterpieces” ❤
Because and Inner Light are very underrated songs.
Inner light and Within You Without You have some underrated lyrical content. Not to mention that orchestration
Love the inner light, def top 15, mm.
Here, there and everywhere ?
If I Fell at 239???????????????????????? Excuse me??????
Here's my Top 10
10. Sexy Sadie
9. You Never Give Me Your Money
8. Helter Skelter
7. A Day In The Life
6. Something
5. Strawberry Fields Forever
4. I Am The Walrus
3. Hey Jude
2. Tomorrow Never Knows
1. I Want You (She's So Heavy)
Like your list but Here Comes the Sun deserves a high ranking.
Your inclusion of "Sexy Sadie", "I Am the Walrus" and "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" in your top 10 makes you a soul mate of mine. 🤟
Are you ok?
Aww you're a george harrison fan... that's cute. To join in the fun my top ten are.
1. Strawberry fields forever
2. A day in the life
3. Tomorrow never knows
4. Here there and everywhere
5. Something
6. Shes leaving home
7. Hey bulldog
8. Rain
9. I am the walrus
10. Oh darling.
Depending on my mood, the order may change, but they're the ones that stay with me the most.
Eleanor rigby ?
Mine is way too similar. Tomorrow Never Knows is underrated, such a good tune
Great list, but get "she's leavin Home," out of it - soppy, banal tripe. But happiness is a warm gun, I want you, she's so heavy, or I got a feeling, in their instead, for the perrfect top 10
1. There are a lot of spelling mistakes in this video
2. I don't think the songs on the Anthology series should be on a ranking like this
3. I disagree with so much on this list I don't even know where to start. But that's okay as everyone can have his/her own list
Yeah a lot of songs were mislabeled
yeah this list is garbage; can’t get the titles right, Anthology songs should not be on here, Teddy Boy isn’t a Beatles song, i could go on and on…i quit watching when he put There’s A Place @ 223, that song is brilliant. i know this is all a matter of opinion but this guy’s opinion are suspect at best 👎🏼
songs with lyrics about love = trash
Tobi I love your channel
I was surprised to see Anthology tracks here as well, but hey, them being here doesn't change the creator's ranking of official releases
Ask Me Why in last place has immediately disqualified this video in my mind
ASK ME WHY IS THE WORST SONG!???!!!!! NO WAY!!!!????!! I DON’T AGREE WITH A LOT OF THESE RANKINGS!!!!
1. Strawberry Fields Forever
2. Rain
3. While My Guitar Gently Weeps
4. A Day in the Life
5. Yer Blues

7. Shes Leaving Home
8. Dont Let Me Down

WTF?
This Boy not even breaking 200 is heartbreaking
terrible list
So true
I don’t understand how Revolution 9 isn’t last
Because it's a piece of avant-garde,Fine art, which gets points for originality and utter crap like octopuses garden, hello/goodbye, yellow submarine exist
@@Rowlph8888Kind of agreed, but Octopus's Garden is actually kind of good
@@Rowlph8888ok you call these three songs garbage? Bro you need help 😭.
@@Rowlph8888?
Revolution 9 at 140? That should be in the bottom 5. I wouldn't have included the anthology songs either.
I love Rubbery Soul
Especially its tracks WORLD (The Word) and IF I NEEED SOMEONE(With three E's) 😂
Agree. I also love the Bright Album and Revolter.
@@craig1538 revolter kkkkkkkkkkkk

Ask me why at 244, hell nah
Are you freaking kidding me? I want to hold your hand below a bunch of crap? NO cover song is better than that ! Top ten at least!
If I Fell at 239?? 😐
Wow Ask my why in last??? That song is really catchy and great! Very underrated song.
Agreed.

Wow paperback writer at no 3.
1963 release), a strong #4 on the pop chart, #1 R&B!
ok cleveland brown
So many stone-cold classics
I think you mean With a little help
Some questionable things here, but I’ve got to respect a fellow George fan. And kudos for having Rain pretty high in the list.
George deserved to be lauded, but I feel Wmggw is highly overrated.
this is not serious. if i fell is not 239. we all know that. it is a mistake. it is a very good composition, one of the best songs of the soundtrack. this is not well made. somebody only listened to the first one or two bars. everybody over 10 can see, this is a very good beatles song. sorry guys
"For You Blue" is missed...
I think this is not the only song that is missing.
If I Fell #239??? That's like a top 3 song from that album
If I Fell is top 10 material.
These are some of their songs I love the most, but as I said before they are not in order, I love all of them equally.
my top 20:
1. Strawberry Fields forever
2.Maxwell's Silver Hammer
3. Hey bulldog

He called rubber soul ruBBery soul
178 for I want to hold your hand? It’s iconic.
Ask Me Why last, immediately discredited
It's so interesting how differently people view the songs of the Beatles. On this list, there's a clear trend to rate most of the rock'n'roll and merseybeat songs at the very bottom, while for me, the bottom of the barrel is the "indian"-songs, the psychedelic ones, the "stoner"-tracks and the ultra-hard/screaming ones like Helter Skelter.
Helter Skelter's a stone cold classic.
This was not easy.
1. Yesterday
2. While My Guitar Gently Weeps
3. A Day in the Life
4. Let it Be
5. Something
6. Penny Lane
7. Strawberry Fields Forever
8. In My Life
9. Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds
Nice list.
At 15:53, it plays She Loves You when it says Long Tall Sally
I noticed a couple issues like that also
1 strawberry fields forever
2 A Day In The Life
3 While my guitar gently weeps
4 Real love
5 hey Bulldog
6 Hey Jude

244 should be Revelation #9
And #243 should be Wild Honey Pie
Fortunately the spotify list is quite different.
To place Penny Lane at 83 is a crime.
Like the video. Like to praise the creator of this list. it takes a lot to rank all the songs and create the video.I have made my top 100 and took ages. It’s also nothing like this top 100. but it shows we are individuals. I’m sure if I published my top 100 there would be disagreements.

Respect
Finally somebody that doesn't have The Long and Winding Road over 75. It's my favorite Beatle song.
Wtf? Revolution 9 #140? Over 100 songs worse than that? Didn't think anybody could do worse than that one. I want to hold your hand was the greatest ever
I know right Revolution 9 is clearly the worse, and I'm surprised I Want to Hold your Hand is that low, it's in my top 10
@@ericburns9132 If I were doing a list of the 244 best Beatles songs, Revolution 9 would be at 245.
