Thanks for the shout out! I just created this UA-cam account so I could comment and subscribe. We've been doing custom harnesses for custom bikes for six years now. We specialize in metric bikes but also tackle American and British iron on occasion as well. We're really excited to be a part of this build!

For someone who knows what is doing it is not a big project. All it takes, it is half a day and everything should work fine. I would use new wire out of the regulator/rectifier. Also keep the horn you can remove a lot of thing but not the horn. Good luck.

Motopilot that first part that you did not know what that was. Thats your starter relay. Cant go in that fake oil tank flopping around. Needs to be mounted properly, if those 2 post at the top of the starter relay make contact with that faux oil tank it will either send electrical current through the frame as which grounds are hooked up to or it will engage the starter. Obviously both are bad. Also I noticed you were wanting to put the voltage regulator in the faux oil tank. The rectangle metal box with a heat sink on it. Well you cant put that in there either. That part gets hot and will melt wires if they are touching it. This needs to be mounted where it can get air to it. Just dont wanna see it burn to the ground. Btw electrical I charge 100 an hour and thats on the side. Good luck with it. Btw is that bike ran with alternating current or direct current? This is important to know.

You have great timing. it just popped in my head today that some of the electrical components may not be ideal inside the oil tank due to heat. If you could email me at motopilot6@gmail.com that would be awesome. I have some basic questions. MP

Man I'm in Pennsylvania. If I lived there I would so be on this. That isn't as difficult as its made out to be. Just separate it down into small sections. Then work on those small sections individually. Each one you finish gets you closer to the end. Run all new wires through the tubes of the frame you can hide everything. Rubber grommets where the wires need to come out of the tubes. Easy peazy lemon sqeezy.....I used to wire airplanes. I'm sure I can handle this

You need a different regulator rectifier if you’re switching to a lithium ion battery otherwise you’re killing a pricey battery.

Start from scratch. Make your own harness. There are three circuits you need to worry about . Ignition, charging, and lights/ auxiliaries.
Sit down with a wiring diagram and a beer, and see if you can figure it out. If you have any problems just ask me.
